Do you believe in Eternal Life?

Do you think that you are only a pilgrim here on earth. Is it important for you to have faith in Jesus Christ inorder to have eternal life? Do you think the bad things you have done here on earth will cause you to loose eternal life? Today is Ash Wednesday, for many Christian it is important to think about death and eternity. We are reminded to do acts of mercy and prayer, penance and fasting. Do you think many Christians still follow this instructions? What do you think is the most important question God will ask you when you die? Some people live only for this earthly life, they have no thought of eternity. So they spent their life getting rich, and indulge in pleasure and acquiring material possessions. Not really following the teaching of Christ in the Bible. If all Christians will follow the Bible - the problem of proverty will be solve. Crime will be reduces and corruption will not exist. Honest and holy people are hard to find. Many read the Bible but do not take God's word seriously. There is power in the word of God.
