If you are working, have you argued with your boss or with your staff. I do, I have argued wirh my boss on matters of office rules and regulations. I am always guided with the rules and regulations, but when my boss say something that is not within the rules then I argue with him. Same way if my staff argued with me on something not into their liking. But after the argument I will say sorry if I am at fault and just say okey if they realized that I am right. Theres no harm saying your piece.

I had this superior (kuno) who was very nosey and she made us feel that we didn't know what we were doing. For example when she went to check my room she aske me what the seating formation was. She was already looking at it and she had to ask me. She was so annoying.
She was also very nosey and gossip monger. One time she dipped her nose with me and a new teacher who became very close to me. She came to our teachers' lounge and asked the guy if he had no intention to make our friendship go to another level. And I was there too. What a thick face!
Anyway, I always had to argue with her because she always questioned something in my lesson plan. I had been in that school one year ahead of her and now she came telling me what to do when I'm already used to the system.

Sorry to hear that. How old is she. If she is in her 50s maybe its her getting old that makes her character different. If you really canno catch up with her can you not ask the highest official in your school to transfer you to another superior. If possible put it in writing so that you can make a follow up. That letter will be acted upon for sure and that superior will know your stand. She might changed her attitude. If still she dont change I suggest that you transfer your school.

Well, we were both Filipinos working with another nationalities and I don't think it's a good idea to bring it up to the administrators in a letter.
I talked to her instead.
And thanks to her I got kicked out of the school! LOL!
But I actually consider it as a blessing on the other hand because I met my future husband few months after leaving the school.

Yes there are arguments between boss and his staff, but I personally think that rather than arguing the better solution is tell the other person in a better manner so that he understands the fact and there is not argument. Obviously this has to happen from both sided and depends on people we are considering.

Thanks for your response, and sorry for the late comment. You have a nice attitude on the manner you like to settle things out, and it should be that way. But sometime really you cannot keep control of your emotion. But right now, I am trying to control the way I discuss things with my staff and my superior.
