It doesn't make sense that the guy keeps coming back when they didn't have a relationship before the girl lost her memory. However, there are definitely men out there that would stick with a woman through any condition. I have many physical problems that cause me to never know how much I am going to be able to do in a day. Some days are good, some are bad. Sometimes there are long stretches of bad. However, I never have to fear that my husband is going to walk away. On the bad days he pitches in a little bit more than usual. We go through my issues together. I could see him coming back day after day, just like in the movie.
