I have an African Grey Congo and boy is she a joy I got her when she was 2 weeks old and hand fed her then weened her. She will be 1 year old on Feb 21. She is saying a few words and has a good time playing with her toys. The only problem I have is potty training her are there any suggestions out there?

I am not a bird person so I didnt even know you could potty train them. How funny is that? Birds are the only animal that I have never wanted to own. My family has a macaw and several others but its just not for me. African Greys are cool though. I know a lot of pet shops have books on specific birds and such you may try picking one up and flipping through it to see if they have any information on potty training. Sorry I couldnt be more help. Tried that but they are like children no two are alike. Have tried the books. Thanks anyway

Sorry I couldnt be more help. Maybe I will try to find a site on the net to help you out. It seems like where they are such smart creatures that it wouldnt be hard to do but who knows.
