Are you a vintage collector?

My wife collects the precious stones, silver jewellery used by her grand mother and now she would like to develop the collection by collecting such 150-200 years old articles which are small in size. (this is because of storage problem). It is interesting and colelction worthy to collect such antiques.

I am not, but I like vintage touches. Is there a category that defines a person who likes modern with vintage here and there? You don't even like vintage clothes? I thought everyone did.

i love to collect old stuff no matter what it is, if it appeals to me, i buy it...i dont really collect any one thing, but if it is older and cool, (and cheap) i will buy it...i do frequent a lot of thrift stores and garage sales where you can get stuff like that fairly cheap sometimes!

I love vintage stuffs. I collect some old working cameras, stamps, toys, and old books. I don't know why but I really like how they look, they give an aura of being really loved by the one who previously owned them. Weird, but interesting.

A few yearsw ago I needed some new saucepans and my partner had found an old set, with "harleguin lids"( each lid a different colour, probably from the 1950s or 60s, but still in original packaging, unused.He used to joke I was prabably using collectable saucepans.
