Have you read The Kite Runner?  | |  I read this book after spending a year deployed to Afghanistan. This book is so amazingly realistic when it comes to how their culture is. I was in awe at this book. I hardly put it down it interested me so much. I hated when I got tired cause that meant it was time to stop. It was like reading a movie. Have you read it and what do you think?

| | | | | | 1.  quiltedblessings (879) | 6 months ago |  I adored the book, I had to read it for a college English class, and then chose to do a research paper about the significance of the kite in the Afghanistan culture, versus the kite in the United States.
The author wrote another book, and I can't remember the title, but I am going to look for it, as I'm sure that it will be just as good.
