Bharat Ratna to Ratan Tata?  

Yes, the point you have mentioned is of a concern. But Ratan Tata has clearly said that the car meets all the stipulated safety norms and its emission norms are already Euro 4. He has also mentioned that the pollution caused by Nano is much less than a two wheeler. If all the people try and use Nano instead of the big polluting vehicles then what might happen? I think its a win-win situation to all of us. Kindly comment on my response.... we shall have a very good discussion

Yes if the nano is that great of a car as far as pollution then that would be good if more people drove them. Then there's the concern with oil. The more cars the more oil is being used, but then again if more people drove more fuel efficient cars then more cars could be driven.

In America people are finally getting rid of their big trucks and SUVs. It took threats of $4/gallon gas to do it. My first wife wanted an Ford Excursion so she could take trips with her mom,sister,aunts and grandmas all in one vehicle plus carry luggage. I told her for the same price of an Excursion we could get a bus and it would get the same gas mileage. I swear that thing probably gets 10 mpg or something.
