Which game are you most familiar in billiards? |
|
Me, I usually play the nine ball game since that's the easiest.. I also do the fifteen ball game but I rarely win in such conditions.. I usually play with my classmates whenever classes are over.. How about you?

1. jaredlp (198) | 6 months ago | I will play 9 ball most of the time. though i disagree to me it is no where near the easiest because of the level of skill required to control the cue ball for a break and run. im not familiar with 15 ball by any chance where u refering to 8 ball, where you rack using 15 balls and object is to sink the 8 ball. there is a game called 3 ball that is fun to play you place three balls in a triangle shape rack and object is to get them down in fewest shots. each player shoots till all the balls down. fewest shots wins. can be played by many at once. another game ive been getting into is speed pool. version i play is rack same as 9 ball. can shoot 1-8 in any order game ends when 9 ball is sunk. one shooter plays per rack and is timed to see how quickly can get all balls down. carefull though 10 sec penalty for any scratch or foul. again winner is person that has quickest time.

ratyz5 (1660) | 6 months ago | I guess we have our likes and dislikes.. In the fifteen ball that I'm referring, you shoot the balls in order and add the amount of each ball that you get to shoot. In case you made combinations, you also add the other balls that you sink. I think I've played that 8 ball game before. One player shoots the stripes and the other shoots those solid colored ones. The eight ball is indeed the middle when you look at the 15 balls altogether. I haven't seen or even played the three ball you mentioned^_^; Speed pool... I ain't good at accuracy for that game since I aim so slow and not even sure when it'll be right or not angled. Sounds exciting though.. thanks for posting some of the games you know^^

jaredlp (198) | 6 months ago | speed pool is a good way also to just challenge yourself and to see how good u really are. Im going to look up more on 15 ball, sounds like could be a nice distraction.

ratyz5 (1660) | 6 months ago | Maybe if I'm really that good, then I'd challenge myself... if we have our own pool table that is.. I tend to play too long that I get to pay too much even though its just a single game..:P

2. CAMILLERI (587) | 6 months ago | Believe it or not the games are called:- 1) BILLIARDS 2) SNOOKER.

|
ratyz5 (1660) | 6 months ago | Really? Please differentiate the two^_^ Thanks for the info:)
| |
|
|
CAMILLERI (587) | 6 months ago | 1) REAL BILLIARS is played with three balls, Two whites and one red. 2) SNOOKER is played with coloured balls placed in certain spots, each colour when potted is equivalent to different points, one always shoot with the white ball.

| 3. hatimyal (17) | 4 months ago | Actually i like playin pool only with 15 balls. and i think 15 ball is way better thn 9 balls. in 9 balls the most irritating thing is wen u pot most of the balls and only last 1 or 2 balls left and u mak a mistake and the whole game goes to ur opponent. atleast in 15 balls u hav to pot ur own balls and in the end the black 1.. i prefer 15 balls. and i gud at it and i love snooker. A piece of advice if u play snooker and u get to atleat good at snooker, pool becomes a child play.
