Any Street Fighter fans here? Which character did/do you use the most?

Ken from Street Fighter - Ken from Street Fighter in a Hadoken pose.

I would have to say that Ken was my go to guy. I really liked setting up a combo finishing with a shuryuken. Which was your favorite Street Fighter game? Mine was probably Street Fighter Alpha 2.

I too would choose Ken in any Street Fighter series. He seems to be more quicker compared to Ryu who also has the same moves. The Street Fighter game that I like Ken best is on the 3rd installment with "Third Strike" since the alterations that have happened compared to the alpha series is quite challenging as well as rewarding when you pull off nice combos. They really made some balance. ^_^

In the Alpha series, the most challenging character in difficulty on max for me would be Guy. That quick moving ninja-fighting style of his is really something ^_^ I would rather play that Fighting game with a Joy stick controller than that of controllers that are provided with conoles platforms. ^_^

Yeah, Guy was a tough opponent. I have a style and some combos with Ken that seem to work well against him. Practice, practice, practice. LOL

I never really got into playing SF III. Perhaps I'll find a copy and try again this time around... Anyone have a favorite SF enemy. Mine is Adon. He is a pain in the original Street Fighter and in the Street Fighter Alpha series.

My most used character is Ken Masters. After the Super Street Fighter II changes, it was a total sale from there. My favorite Street Fighter games? 1. Marvel vs Capcom 2 2. Street Fighter Alpha 2 3. Namco x Capcom 4. Street Fighter Alpha 3 5. Street Fighter 3 6. Street Fighter 2 Turbo 7. Pocket Fighter

It's great to hear from all these Ken fans. I like the composition of your list theprogramer. I owned SF II Turbo for SNES. I remeber when SF II Turbo and SF II Rainbow Edition arcade games first came to the corner store. The line-ups for the SF II Championship Edition were long gone but those two variations brought the gamers back. I couldn't wait for someone to choose to pit Dhalsim against my Ken in Rainbow or Turbo Edition.

I'm the king of the cheap characters in any fighting game so I used Chun Li the most in street fighter. Just get someone in a corner and lightning kick the heck out of them. But I can say that I did manage to win a tournment in Super Street Fighter 2 with Balrog. Yes Balrog. That was the best moment of my entire video game life because the three people I beat were all better than me and I beat them with Balrog.

Winning a tournament using Balrog is quite impressive. M. Bison and E. Honda are also good cheap characters. I could easily beat SF II championship edition, back in the day, without losing one round using Bison or Honda. After kocking an opponent down with Bison's pyschocrusher, proper timing would allow you to continually connect with a psychocrusher, each time knocking your opponent down before they would have a chance to block. You could gain similar results with Honda's Super Zutsuki (flying headbutt).

I'm not familiar with the Street fighter game released nowadays coz i was in high school when it was introduced to the public. but during those days, i was into Ryu. I used him alot to compete with my friends and siblings.

Street Fighter Alpha 2 has been around for about a decade now. I assume that you are talking about SF II. I remember playing SF II in arcades and at convenience stores when I was much younger. If I think back long enough, I can even remember the original Street Fighter. I always preferred Ken to Ryu though.

I'd prefer Ryu over Ken always. At one time I was using Vega quite a lot as I loved the way that monkey climbed & the way he rolled & attacked with his claw. I think I still prefer SF2 the most.
