Both Earth and Moon are spheres that rotate and revolve around the Sun. They receive light from the Sun. Earth is almost four times big than Moon. Moon has less mass and less gravity than the Earth. The scientists tell that the Moon’s gravity is almost 1/6 of earth’s gravity. It means that the thing weighing 600 at will become 600x1/6=100 pounds on moon.

I believe that if I were to weigh six hundred pounds on earth, I would weigh about a hundred pounds on the moon. This is because weight is dependent on gravity, and the gravity on the moon is one-sixth the gravity on earth. So that's how I came up with that conclusion! =) However, if you are referring to mass, then it would be the same no matter whether it's on earth, the moon or anywhere else in the universe.
