In my book Tina Turner is the Queen of R&R. She's earned it! I think that what Aretha did was in poor taste really. Yes, there are egos all over the stage, but to say that was like biting the hand that feeds you.

Can't she just be happy for someone else? She maybe the Queen of Soal....but sorry Aretha, Tina's the Queen of Rock and Roll. She has been since I was little.

i think beyonce did not say anything after the queen, beyonce only said the queen, so maybe thats the reason why she is making a news out of it. sorry also to aretha, but i am not a aretha fan, i am a tina fan. and they are both have the right to be queens. thanks for the response

it was really insulting since Aretha Franklin has always been tagged as the Queen of Soul. but maybe beyonce didn't really mean anything when she said that. maybe she was just taken by the excitement of having a duet with tina turner.^__^

yes aretha is the Queen of Soul and there is no doubt about that. maybe the writers has done the harm. they forgot to write aretha the queen of soul. thanks for the response

Maybe that's just part of the script, I mean its possible that the organizers/script writers of the show wrote that and beyonce just needed to deliver the spiel...

hi there destiny, thanks for the response though its kinda late. have you check the link? yes it is just part of the script thats why Aretha said "I am not sure of whose toes I may have stepped on or whose ego I may have bruised between the Grammy writers and Beyoncé."
