Can The Dreamweaver Help You With Your Dreams? Lol. | | | | A friend I met fairly recently in Mylot, requested that I start a discussion on dreams, as she is particularly interested to know the meaning of hers. I am extremely interested in the meaning of dreams, and have been studying interpretation for a while now. I always jot mine down and write underneath, in my journal, what I think they mean. Also, in a previous, similar discussion, I surprised myself a little in the accuracy of my summaries. Indeed, I think I surprised the people involved, as well. ha ha ha. Anyway, back to the point... if you'd like to put me to the test, it would be great, and if you could let me know how close you think my interpretations are afterwards, it would help me tremendously. So, have any of you had any significant dreams of late, that you can remember? If so, please tell me in response and I'll see what I can make of them, for you. Dreams often don't mean what they appear to mean. There is usually an underlying meaning in the subconcious. So, go ahead... dream for me, and let's see how many I can accurately interpret. I will enjoy this, and hope you might too. | | Dreaming | | | | | | | | | Psychic Sun Clairvoyant Psychic Readings using Russian Gypsy Cards and a Psychic Message Board www.psychic-sun.com

| | Hi Darkwing. I had a dream the first night I moved into my new home, but I can't remember it. It was some kind of crazy dream though... so I will try to remember my next one. I have such a hard time remembering my dreams. I should write them down, but I am never awake enough to know to write them down. I will contact you when I do have a dream though that I do recall. | | | | | | | Darkwing (7548)

| | I find it best to keep a notepad and pen beside the bed, because you always awake at least briefly from your dream, and if you go back to sleep, the dream is more often than not, forgotten. So, when I wake initially, I jot down key words, then go to the bathroom, coming back to get more sleep. Then, when I wake in the morning, the key words bring the dream back to my mind. Most dreams do seem crazy, in that they're symbols, rather than reality. Certain objects and actions, have certain meanings... like running away from somebody. It's important whether they're male or female, and the running denotes your dislike of something within you. Anyway... enough! I look forward to hearing about any significant dreams you have in the future, which you don't understand or which seem "weird" to you. Brightest Blessings my friend, good luck in your new home, and sweet dreams. x | | | | marciascott (11722)

| | I dreamt this a while back, but it was very odd. Let me start by explaining I am a Doctor Who fan.... I dreamed a dream about a female Doctor, kind of thin with shortish, punkish type hair, medium brown. She had 2 companions, male & female. they were being pursued by this wolf kind of monster & ended up hiding in a closet. The monster found them, but when he was concentrating on the Doctor, the female companion slipped out behind it & was running out of the room when she ran into Doctor Four. He was thin himself, sans coat/scarf/hat, but had the longer curly hair. He did look older, but maybe not as old at Tom Baker actually is. He came back & helped get rid of the monster - I don't quite know how. He turned out to have a different Tardis, was in the shape of a popcorn machine(!!) and one of those arcade games sort of things. The whole front opened as the door. I woke up for a few minutes. Then, I went back to sleep and dreamed that Doctor 10, with some other companion & I (well, maybe not really ME...) had landed in some place like Vegas. I remember getting on the phone while the others were sleeping & making arrangements to see what sights there were to see - I do remember specifically mentioning the moving statues at Ceaser's. We started off walking down this lovely grassy (mustn't be Vegas!) esplanade with fountains. I remember walking back (dragging would be a better term) from the fatigue & heat. As an aside, even as I was dreaming I thought: I don't remember the sights. But a great way to show the passage of time. Sun on one side, energetic people, sun from the other side, barely able to stand people! | | | | | | | Darkwing (7548)

| | Wow... thank you for such a long and detailed description of your dream. You did well to remember all that. Tell me... do you make notes during breaks in your dreams? Whatever, I shall attempt to put some meaning into this dream, as it is quite fantasy based, but then maybe your liking of the Doctor Who programmes, inspired the way you dreamed it. I'll break it down into parts first, and then try to put it together as a whole, in summary. Ok... for what it's worth... here we go. Firstly, dreams about time travel, indicate your desire to escape the current reality in your life. You want to go back in time, to the past or leap forward, to the future to a time where your hopes and wishes are realised. Your romantic nature or desire to romanticise everything is stressed here, also, forming the base of your dream. Having a monster following you, signifies grief and misfortune in your immediate future. Monsters represent parts of yourself that you find ugly or dislike, and it seems you may have some fears or some subdued emotions. Then came the hero, your Tom Baker, (is he your favourite Doctor Who, by any chance? :)), to the rescue, symbolising a part of yourself that has been neglected or ignored, and which trying to find a way to express. I don't think the actual popcorn machine is relevant other than as a pointer towards popcorn, which suggests that you are full of ideas, and that certain truths or facts are being made aware to you. Lush, green grass suggests a part of yourself that you can always rely on, or it may be symbolic of natural protection. Vegas denotes riches, and fountains, great joy, renewed pleasure or increased sensitivity, coupled with success in life with perseverance. You could be entering into a new relationship, or period of your life which, with a little effort, will be much brighter and happier. As for the two sides, one with exhausted people, in extreme heat, and the other with people who are energetic and full of life; I think this is showing you your past struggle to a better life and your choices. If you stay on your current path, then you'll be amongst the exhausted people, unhappy with your choice, but if you cross to the side of the fitter people, you will have conquered the fears and dislike of your current self, and will have grown in spirit, becoming a person much more to your own liking. So... to sum up as briefly as possible... There is some grief, or misfortune in your life right now, which you want to escape in order to realise your dreams. You feel that a significant part of you is being neglected and ignored, and you know where you want to be, but are struggling to make the right decision, despite the realisation and ideas being there. Something, or somebody is holding you back, and you need to make the decision to break from this and to cross to the side where happiness and success (the fit people) is. You're tired and fatigued with your current situation and want to move on, to a better future, but first you have to get rid of the monster that is holding you back. I hope this helps some and would be interested to know how close I am with my interpretation of your dream. Think about it... is there something you're unhappy with in your life which stops you from realising your true potential, and keeps you from happiness and success? You don't have to tell me the details, but just a yeah, you were close, or no, you're way out, would help me greatly. Thank you for your input. I appreciate it very much. Brightest Blessings in the hope you make all the right decisions and flourish with success. x | | | | ElicBxn (24681)

| | Well, for one thing, the people were the same people, just in the morning, then at the end of the day. I do think that there is some recognition that I'm discouraged, by my mom's deteriorating health. Last year at this time, she could still walk, but now she can barely help get herself transfered to the toliet. I know my sibs are also feeling the strain. Yes, Tom Baker is my first and favorite Doctor. No, I didn't take notes, but when I woke up after the first bit, I lay there remembering it until I fell asleep for the second bit and then, when I woke up I did write them both down. Good thing because I'd never remember them later! I know that I've been feeling frustrated that I can't seem to write, except for a couple of short things, at least one of which I had been storing in my head for a long while, I haven't writen anything in like 10 years. | | | | Darkwing (7548)

| | Ah, yes. Now you've told me a little bit about you, I can see what the dream was trying to tell you. Your romantic nature or desire to romanticise is probably pointing to your writing, and your mother's condition indicates the grief and misfortune in your life (the Monster)? But, you're spoiled for choice because your mother needs you right now. Your desire is to move on to where the happy, successful people are, and to continue your writing (your romantic nature or desire to romanticise), but you feel an obligation to your mother and your siblings, hence the feeling of being "dragged back" from your writing. As the popcorn element suggests you are full of ideas, and certain truths or facts are being made known to you, which you are longing to write about, but can't afford the time or concentration right now, and the lush, green grass suggests a part of yourself that you can always rely on, so you will find the way to success (Vegas riches) and happiness (the fountains) eventually. In other words, you're finding it frustrating at the moment, due to your mother's condition, but you love her, and you want to be there for her, as do your siblings, so you've put your writing aside for a while. However, when you are freed from this obligation, your ideas and ability to write them down, will come flooding back, and because you have afforded time to your mother, you will find the path to success in the future, without remorse or regret. You just have to give it a little time... I wish you all the luck in the World with your writing, and am praying that you find the strength to see your mother through her bad times first. I think you'll do this without too much difficulty, and emerge triumphant. Good luck... may the eternal light shine on your path to success, my friend. x | | | | | | | Tired of Phony Psychics? | | Two night ago,I dreamed of this kid...Actually,I met that kid earlier that day and he was a seller of toys and bubbles along the famous park in our country...In my dream,I saw him and his father. The father was hurting the kid...I wanted o help but something was stopping me from doing so... | | | | | | | Darkwing (7548)

| | Hi Bianx, and thank you for sharing your dream, which I will try to solve, for you. Think about this child representing yourself, whilst reading, or maybe you have a brother who might relate to this? Anyhow, I'll make my attempt, in the context of you, seeing yourself as this child, and see where we go with it. Seeing this child in your dream, perhaps signifies a retreat back to a childhood state, or childlike qualities... an extension of your inner child during a time of carefree innocence, purity and simplicity; the bubbles depicting merriment, fun, and childhood joys, but beware, there could be another meaning to the bubbles... consider also the bursting of one's bubble, which could be reiterating that father figure you saw, when he hurt the child. The father symbolises authority and protection, and also a need to be more reliant. Sadly, in this case, there was no protection other than you, (maybe your inner child or self), who wanted to help, but was reluctant, for some reason. This suggests to me either a deep respect for your father, or authority, or maybe, because he hurt you and held you back, a resentment? Consider also your waking relationship with your father. Maybe you've always lived your life in an effort to please him, but at some time, deflected from that path and trod the way YOU thought was better for you? It could be that you're longing for the past and the chance to satisfy desires and unfulfilled hopes that you've held back on, because of your love for your father. You need time out, to cater to the inner child within. There could be something you need to see grow, some routine in your life you're not satisfied with, but as I said, be careful, as the bubbles could symbolise dashed hopes or unrealistic expectations. You really need to look inside yourself to understand the message here. With regard to the toys, these represent childhood, domestic joy and harmony, so you may be searching for the comfort and security of home. Dreaming you are hurt, signifies wounded emotions or feelings that you may have suppressed, and which were instilled by your father at some point in your life, or by some figure of authority. You need to address these feelings in order to properly heal. The desire to help someone, indicates your willingness to compromise your beliefs toward a greater accomplishment and also your efforts to combine your talents or energies to achieve a mutual goal, but the reluctance, or being held back, suggests that you need to come to an understanding or some sort of middle ground with an authority figure or your father, in order to move forward and on with your life. I hope this makes some sense to you. I know it's a long read, and perhaps a little repetitive, but there is some longing in your heart to be settled, and in a position to enjoy the carefree simplicity and happiness you enjoyed in your early life before seemingly, something went wrong. You can get there with a little understanding of what's being shown to you, and a little effort to mend bridges? I wish you much luck on this, and hope that I've managed to explain what your dream was about in a satisfactory manner. I will be pleased to discuss this further with you if you have any observations, and am itching to know whether I hit on anything of significance to you. Brightest Blessings... may the light shine your way on your path, always. x | | | | | | | Psychic Readings Try The Top Free Psychic Readings With Spot On Accuracy Here! www.powerfulpsychics.com | add comment | | | |

| | hi Darkwing! i hope you could interpret me my dreams: first, i had a dream i was carrying my own ash urn and just came out from our church back at my hometown so in my dream i was dead...thats the saddest dream i ever had.. and then this is the most important thing i wish you could interpret.. i dreamt of my ex almost everyday..does it mean something?! even though i wasnt thinking of him anymore he would just pop up suddenly into my dreams..and it wasnt a sad one..:) thank you so much Darkwing.. God bless and Happy Valentine! | | | | | | | Darkwing (7548)

| | Hi Necromancer. It might surprise you to know that these dreams knit very well together, in meaning. Thank you for the Valentine's wish, and a very Happy Valentine's Day to you. :) Ok... without further ado, on with your dreams... The dream that you're carrying your ash urn doesn't depict that you are dead, but represents feelings that have burned out or that you are feeling burnt out and exhausted. It also symbolises the past. So, you see, this all ties in with the dream about your ex. I'm not sure whether he was your ex-husband or boyfriend, but I'm working on it being either. The appearance of your ex, and the fact that you got back together again, suggests that something or someone in your current life is bringing out similar feelings in you, to those you experienced during the relationship with him. This might be a way of alerting you to the same or similar behaviour in a relationship you are currently building. What you learned from that previous relationship may need to be applied to the present one so that you do no repeat the same mistake, or it may be highlighting the positive experiences you had with your ex. Only you will know which. If it is your ex-husband you see in your dream, the indication is that you are finding yourself in a situation that you don't wish to be in, by suggesting that you are experiencing a similar relationship or situation which makes you feel unhappy and uncomfortable. However, as you said that it wasn't sad, or troubled, then I would think that the former might apply. Only you can understand the matters of your heart. I can't really suggest anything too much here, as I don't know your current or indeed, your past situation, but on reading through, you might be able to relate to what I've said, and I would love to know what you think about it... i.e. whether it's close to the mark, or not. Please come back and tell me, would you? Thank you for sharing your dreams with us, and Brightest Blessings. x | | | | | necromancer_glene (41)

| | Hi there again Darkwing! Thank you for the interpretations. About the ash urn, I was really afraid I am dying too soon, thank you for clearing my mind. Yes, your interpretations relate to what was going in my life those days. I was really stressed and so preoccupied. About the second one, im sorry, it was about my exbf, im not sure but i dont know what you mean about -"the fact that you got back together again" no we didnt get back. Anyway, can i ask more two things? Im dreaming a lot about flying. In my dreams, I keep on flying. It was not that high only about 2 meters. And lastly, most of my dreams, I can control what will I do and I am aware that I am dreaming. Does it mean something?! Thank you so much. It really helps a lot. God bless and best wishes. | | | | Darkwing (7548)

| | Hi again, Necromancer! I'm sorry about the ex part. I misread it somewhat, but the fact that you didn't get together again makes no difference to the meaning in this case. You dreamt about him often, so there were some issues there, regarding a relationship which gave you similar feelings, or perhaps even a warning that you were going down the same road with a current relationship. The fact that you are aware that you're dreaming and have a degree of control over your dreams, means you're having "lucid" dreams. Lucid dreams occur when you become aware that you are dreaming, and one of their categories is having the ability to fly, which is probably what happens in your case. You choose to fly because you know you're in a dream, and flying is beyond our physical limitations, and impossible in reality. These "flying" dreams give you a great sense of freedom, and the ability to see things from a different perspective. Your dreams of flying low, possibly hold a different meaning to soaring high. For instance, if you're only two metres from the ground, there are still obstacles in your flight path, like trees, buildings, hills, power lines etc. These barriers represent an obstacle or person in your waking life, who is standing in your way. You need to identify who or what is stopping you from moving forward, or is it that you don't wish them to move out of your path? Flying dreams normally represent the strength of your mind and will, and your ability or non-ability to rise above a situation, when required to do so, in order to strengthen your own, personal sense of power and freedom. Next time you are able to induce flight, try to fly higher and free yourself from the obstacles, enjoy the landscape, and the freedom which you seek. If you are not clear on lucid dreams, it might help you to visit a site with FAQ and explanations, which can be reached by clicking on the following link. I think you have the ability to gain even more control over your dreams, and a read through this site, might help you. http://www.lucidity.com/LucidDreamingFAQ2.html Good luck, Happy Reading, Brightest Blessings and Sweet Dreams, my friend. | | | | | | | psychic reading Compare Top Psychics & Get Readings For Free Today! getapsychic.com | add comment | | | |

| | If I dream I dont remeber them wish I did. used to dream all the time when younger mostly being chased by someone and jumping from building to building Sky scarpers till I would fall then I would wake up before I landed and I would be on the floor lol | | | | | | | Darkwing (7548)
|
| | Seeing as you don't have any recent dreams that you recall, I will attempt to put meaning into the ones you had when younger, my friend. You gave me a little chuckle in saying that you'd be on the floor, after falling. I would have been very disturbed if I'd been sharing your bed during your dreams, as you must have been very active! ha ha ha. Anyway, for what it's worth, I know a little of your background, and will attempt to incorporate that into my understanding of your dreams of the past... are you ready for this? :) To dream that you are being chased, signifies that you are avoiding a situation that you consider unconquerable, often stemming from some form of insecurity. Skyscrapers represent your high ideals, creativity and imagination. You always aim high at whatever you do. It also suggests that you have great foresight. To dream that you fall and are not frightened, signifies that you will overcome your adversities with ease, but if the fall frightens you, it denotes lack of control, insecurity and lack of support in your waking life. You may have been experiencing a major struggle or overwhelming problem in your life, so I tend to place these dreams at the time of your hubby's illness? I don't know whether that's right, but just a thought which I've applied to this. This fear of falling may also denote your failure to achieve a goal that you set yourself, but I don't see you as ever failing anything, if you have control over a situation. That's just my view of the woman you are. ok? Chase dreams often stem from feelings of anxiety and our response to anxiety and pressure in real life manifests as a chase dream. Running is an instinctive response to physical threats in our environment and often in these dreams, one is being pursued by some attacker, who wants to hurt or possibly kill them. They may represent your way of coping with fears, stress or various situations in your life where rather than confront the situation, you are running away and avoiding it. You may understand better the source of your fears and pressures by asking yourself who is the person chasing you. The pursuer may also represent a part of yourself; your own anger, jealousy, fear, and possibly feelings of love, can assume the appearance of a threatening person, and you could be projecting these feelings onto the unknown chaser. It is sometimes good to turn around and ask the pursuer why they are chasing you, just as one would ask a spirit what they wanted with them. Whatever else, this dream signifies that you have lost your foothold and can not hang on or keep up with the hustle and bustle of daily life. When you fall, there is nothing to grab onto. You almost feel forced toward this downward motion without any control. This loss of control may indicate a waking situation in your life. Falling dreams also often reflect a sense of failure or inferiority in some circumstance or situation. It may be the fear of failing in your job or school, loss of status, or failure in love. Again, here I feel that this might be pointing towards your inability to help with a cure for your hubby. You feel him slipping away from you, and your inability to keep him there gives you a feeling of anger, helplessness, insufficiency and failure on your part. (the unconquerable situation?) You like to be in control of all that happens in your life, and you do very well at it, if I might say so, but on this occasion, you were unable to control or conquer the situation. Hence, you had this falling feeling. You'd failed to jump the gap in the buildings, and you felt desperately in need of some insight into how to stop the course of nature taking away a very great part of your life. I'm sorry my friend, if this is upsetting to you... I have tears in my eyes whilst typing. Maybe I shouldn't have transcribed this dream, but I feel you need to understand it. That is, indeed, if it was dreamed around this harrowing time in your life. ((((((Huggggggggggggs)))))) to you, my dear friend. I know I've said this before, but in my eyes, you are a very wise and strong woman, with a great big heart, and I love you for that! Brightest Blessings. xxx | | | | Lakota12 (23205)

| | Well, I hope my reading of this dream can help you a little with your problems; perhaps nudge something forward that is evading you? I'll try anyway. This could become quite long, and wrangling, but I'll try to condense it without losing the meaning, so that you can consider all the inferences and what they mean to you, personally. By the way, it was you who convinced me to start this discussion, so I hope I can be of some help. ha ha ha. Ok... are you sitting comfortably? Think back to your dream and your feelings at the time, and please come back and let me know whether I have touched on anything significant, would you? Firstly the yard. From your description it sounded quite a neat, well-kept yard, which reflects your ability to maintain and organise the outdoor aspects of your life, such as work and social activities. However, if the yard was untidy and messy, it would suggest that there are aspects of your life which are out of your control. To see, or sense the people you don't know in your dream, signifies hidden aspects of yourself that you need to confront. A single plane indicates that you will overcome your obstacles and rise above them, to a new level of prominence and status ending in your experience of a higher consciousness, new-found freedom and greater awareness. However, the colours and numbers add slants to this meaning, which I will attempt to translate. Grey indicates fear, fright, depression, ill health and confusion... maybe a feeling of being emotionally distant or detached, and the number six, indicates cooperation, balance, tranquility, perfection, warmth, union, marriage, family, and love, meaning your mental, emotional and spiritual states are in harmony with each other. Six also suggests domestic bliss. It sounds as if you've been confused, due to depression or ill health and feeling distant, but that you're in control of these, and able to find balance again. Ok... now on to the predominantly red plane... this colour signifies raw energy, force, vigor, intense passion, aggression, power, and courage. It has deep emotional and spiritual connotations. It is also the color of danger, shame, sexual impulses and urges, but I feel the former is more applicable in your case? As the planes were flying in formation, I would describe this as an air raid, which is indicative of your feeling overwhelmed by things that seem to be coming out of the blue at you, and a feeling of lack of control in your life. Then, the plane swoops and the bomb drops, rendering you helpless to stop it hitting, signifying that you may have been going through a potentially explosive and trying situation at the time of this dream. The bomb could represent desires or unexpressed emotions that are likely to explode or burst if not dealt with soon. It could be something within yourself, such as the desire to explode with anger over an issue that's affecting you, and your attempt to divert the bomb could mean that you were unwilling to deal with issues at that particular juncture. Dreaming of your own death, indicates a transitional phase in your life. You are becoming more spiritually enlightened, or alternatively, trying desperately to escape the demands of your daily life. I haven't known you for too long, but I would attribute the former meaning to this. You lost your spirituality somewhere along the way, but it is flooding back now. I notice that in each discussion of mine to which you respond. :) Indeed, seeing and talking to the spirits of others in your dream, indicates to me that the spirits may be trying to guide you through some issues or problems. Pay particular attention to the spirits as they may be an answer to one or more of your problems. I hope this has been of some help to you my friend because I know you have been battling with a few issues in your life, of late. I hope you can find your way back to a better, more organised and spiritual life soon. I'm sure you will... you're a determined lady, with a liking of tranquility, love and harmony. Brightest Blessings. x | | | | Kashmeresmycat (2389)

| | Wow Darkwing, I Thank You so much for such an in-depth response. And, Thank You again for starting this discussion for me, I'm really appreciative of that thought. I didn't want to answer this as soon as I read it yesterday so I had time to really think about what you said, since its been a few months. I just wanted to contemplate a little as this was such a clear, vivid dream for me. Here goes: The yard was slightly messy but not completely trashed or anything, it was almost like it just needed cleaning up and it would be pretty again. So, were there aspects of my life out of control?...definitely and completely true. The Grey coloring is understandable as I was very frightened and confused and didn't know where I was going to turn to next. I remember I kept telling myself I just don't care about nothing anymore (detaching myself, trying to just give up), but deep down it never works for me. Maybe that's where the number six shows up...I could never just not care but tried....could that be the pulling between the grey and number six?, if you know what I mean. I was extremely depressed but my depression comes in weird shapes and sizes,....I'll put a smile on my face but inside I'm slowly falling apart. I try really hard to shake it off and keep thinking things will get better, but then something else happened and I had to deal with that. It's like it was never ending. The color Red is my favorite which does give me energy and the will to keep going, I love wearing it, so I think my mind forced that into the dream in a way of telling me don't give up just yet. And yes, I did feel like I was a walking timebomb...ready to explode but holding everything in. "Dreaming of my own Death" was the most important part I read in your answer....am I in a transitional phase?..I hope so. I want to go back to where I was a few years ago, spiritually. I miss it terribly and had a much more peaceful existence, even with problems. Right now, I'm getting better Thanks to you and a couple other people that I've met along the way. I did lose my spirituality and I know I've been guided but didn't have my eyes open to see it. I know this now, and probably knew it all along, just couldn't open up to it. I kept yelling in my mind for months "Where is everybody?, Why are you not helping me right now?"...I was mad and angry at everything, including my spirit helpers, which I'm sure they probably laughed at and figured I'd get over it, lol! They were helping me all along and right now I think I'm going in the right direction. Yes, I am determined, one way or the other, and no one is going to stop me this time. Thank you so much. You've hit everything right on perfectly and as I look back, I can go forward. Thank you again and again........Big, Big Hugs! XXXXX | | | | Darkwing (7548)

| | You're so welcome, my friend. We weren't brought together for no reason, there's a reason for everything, and I believe in this case, we might have been brought together by our mutual spirits. We understand what each other has to say and the messages within each other's words, which is why I hold this belief. My image of you is that you value your life path and your ideals quite highly and will do what you have to, to get them in perspective. How do I come to that conclusion... hmmmm, well you give it away in your responses, your cries for help and reason and I hear all this in my subconscious mind, as I read. You asked me some while ago to restart a dream discussion, as you had issues you wanted to understand. I was reluctant at first, but after your brief absence from the site, you returned, and the desire was still there. I gathered this from your responses in other discussions I'd started. So, I posted it, because I knew you would be here, wanting to know the meaning of your dreams, my friend. Are we spiritually connected, or what do you think? :) I hope now, you can come through your "messy patch" triumphant. I'm sure you will, because you really need to, and you have the strength to do so. It may take a while, or you may emerge quickly but I feel you are headed towards a quick return to the spiritual and tranquil path in life you so long for. Brightest Blessings, in the hope that the eternal light will shine on your path, always. x | | | | Kashmeresmycat (2389)

| | I want to come back to where I was a few years ago more than anything I've ever wanted. I just don't know where to begin and so much time has passed, but I feel I need to do this. The peacefulness that I had is gone and that scares me inside. I like talking to you because you have what I'm missing and understand what that would be like if it disappeared from your life right now. It's very hard to find someone who can so easily relate to that. I was very angry when I thought I was getting no help from my spirit guides, although like I said, I'm positive I was, just not quick enough for me. But guess what, here you are and do I feel maybe it was you that was sent?...That is a good possibility and I want to believe that. Maybe you are my one of my Guardian Angels that I've been waiting to hear from.....or in the very least, someone who understands where I'm coming from and doesn't judge me in a bad light. I'm very, very happy that we have met. | | | | Darkwing (7548)

| | It seems to me that you're halfway there, already, my friend. You know where you want to be... I imagine you've already found your inner self, and determined that much. So now, you have to shed the fear aspect, get rid of the negatives, so to speak. In my tradition, we have ways of doing that, and it's possible for you as well... however, you may have a different way of dispersing with the negatives. Once you've done that, then the only way is forward... you can't go back, but you can determine where you want to go in a forwards motion. Get my drift? If you already know where that place is, spiritually, then you just have to get rid of those negatives, and start taking steps towards that place, with a positive attitude, and a happy heart. It's what we call spiritual growth... know it? Yes, I'm happy with the way things have gone over the past three years, but there is still one nagging negative. However, I try to place that in a positive position and will NOT give up on it, because it's a part of my happy place. So, I can see where you're coming from. When I feel the way you're feeling, I often take off, but it's a bit difficult if you have children. I go off to a place I can connect with, in the West Country, climb to the top of a tall hill on the coast, and sit, or sometimes, I'll go to Glastonbury. I let the wind blow through my hair, and take in the sky, sea and the horizon... hence I find myself again. There is nothing there bar me, Nature and the Elements, and I feel very close to the spirits, God and Goddess. Often, I find answers and come back home, refreshed and with a renewed spirit. That's one way of meditating, I guess. If you can manage that... try it! Now is the time... a time of new growth, and Beltane (April 31st/May 1st, is a time to strengthen that. I have to say, I do feel an affinity with you, and I felt this the first time we spoke. I've felt this with others, and they with me, so perhaps we've met in another life... who knows? Or, it could be purely spiritual, but I do feel there's something there. :) Brightest Blessings. | | | | Kashmeresmycat (2389)

| | Good Morning again Darkwing.....what a heartwarming response you gave to me. Made me really stop and think, again. When you mentioned Glastonbury I looked it up on Google just to see where it was and read a little about it. Oh, I would just love to go there...sounds so beautiful and spiritual, completely. I pictured you up on the hill with the wind blowing in your hair, surrounded by nature and sky, and decided to sit next to you up there, lol, so I went on a visual trip. I must say, I loved it. I have not looked up Beltane yet but I will to see exactly what it is. April and May is when I really perk up inside and feel life is wonderful, and I think that's because it's Spring......my time of the year. I feel like I'm alive again and just full of energy and happy thoughts. I love the smell of the air and the newly formed little blossoms and leaves....it rejuvenates me completely. Maybe we did meet in another lifetime or are just spiritually connected. Did I ever tell you my Father's family was from Wales?.....Unfortunately, we (my sister and I) don't know much about it, just that they came to the US from Wales......last name is Watkins. Isn't it amazing how just answering one discussion a few weeks ago can lead to all this conversation, lol! I'm actually sitting here with a big smile on my face and wondering about all this. Well, off to work, boo hoo.....take care. | | | | Darkwing (7548)

| | Glastonbury is indeed, a very spiritual place. It's one of the places that calls me back, constantly, especially the Chalice Well Gardens. There's something there from a past life, I'm convinced of that. The Abbey grounds are very soothing too. I don't know why, but there is a Monk's Kitchen there, which survived all the plunder of days gone by, and they have a lot of implements and tree bark dishes full of herbs and berries and stuff in there. The floor is very uneven, and it's like stepping back in time when you enter. I love Glastonbury, and can guarantee that if you ever manage to go there, you will feel the same way I did, because you'll approach it with an open mind like I did. I won't go into detail about Beltane, because I feel I should leave you to look into this yourself, if you're interested in it. That way, you're able to form your own opinion and beliefs, which is what paganism is all about. It's not for me to expect you to believe in the same way I do. You'll learn much from reading, as do we all, but I'm here to answer any questions I can, which might arise in your mind, or to guide you on to better reading perhaps. Amazing that your Father's family came from Wales. I wonder which part? I've been to the southern parts quite a lot, and the northern part, just once, when I went to Snowdonia. There's another connection between us, as the hill I like to sit on when finding my inner self, is above Lynmouth, on the Somerset coast, and if I look across the water, on a clear day, I can see the south coast of Wales, close to the horizon. Hmmmm. I think we might have hit on something there. :) Brightest Blessings... I hope work wasn't too tough! x | | | | | | Kashmeresmycat (2389)

| | Thank You for the link Darkwing, I will read this when I have more time which will probably be on Thursday, my day off. I also wish I knew more about what part of Wales the family came from. My father died when I was 18, too young to ask questions about the family as you do when you're older, and are more curious. I have the feeling though that something will come up related to it. I just have to watch for the signs and believe them.....all I know is somethings going on here but I can't figure it out yet, lol! | | | | Darkwing (7548)

This is just another one of those things that have been brought up that I haven't talked to anyone about, other than you. Full moon here starts on Wednesday, February 20th at 10:21 P.M, almost Thursday......hahaha.....there's no place called Full Moon Wales is there?, LOL! | | | | Darkwing (7548)

| | Ha ha ha ha... no, not that I know of. They're all funny sounding names like Llandudno, and Llanelli, etc. Of course there's the more common ones like Cardiff, Swansea and Barry, but in the north, they're all quite Welsh language sounding names. :) I just thought that if you know your father's family emigrated to the States, there must be some record of them taking American Citizenship. I don't know where you'd find that, but I'm sure it's there somewhere. I'm glad that you feel you can talk to me about these things, because I love to help people... I strive to do just that, but I never forget my own needs. :) | | | | Kashmeresmycat (2389)

| | Good Morning Darkwing.....ahhhh, my day off, finally, and I feel like I have a million things to do and not enough time. The only papers I have that relate to the naturalization papers just say my Grandfather came from England, no specifics. It doesn't even have his middle name, but I might be able to find that out. It also mentions Victoria Queen of Great Britain and Empress of India whose subject he was. He came with another person and they both did this at the same time. I will have to check out the different Welsh names and see if I get any intuitive feelings just for fun. | | | | Kashmeresmycat (2389)

| | Hi Darkwaing. I haven't spoken to you in a while. I have 2 dreams of interest to discuss with you. 1. It's a bright sunny day and my girlfriends and I are out and about. Having a good time. I get into the back seat of my friends car close the door and then the door opens and in sits my brother. I'm staring at him like what the heck? Dumbfounded as to where he emerged from since I haven't seen him in 8 yrs. He doesn't say anything or look at me or anyone else in the car. So we go about our businesss....with him in tow. The whole time I'm wondering what's up. Still he doesn't speak even though I ask him and still he follows. the end. I called him later that day to find out if he was alright but there was no answer. 2. I leave my house up beat. Walking with a pep in my step down the sidewalk. It's not sunny or cloudy. More like a gray blue sky. I notice this turquiose pick up truck following me slowly. I carefully look over my shoulder and notice the driver get out of the car and instead of walking behind me he walks up a driveway and then walks parallel with me. (he walking accross peoples driveways over gardens drivway gardens etc) I stop to tie my shoes (I was faking it. I know the sleeping me was telling myself to run) and as I crouching he walks down the driveway towards me with a gun and says "YOu think I wont shoot you?!?!" So the me that is sleeping is like oh no! He shoots me twice and as I'm laying there I'm trying to play dead. (It felt like the sleeping me was standing there the entire time.) The guy walks closer and said something about me faking it and empties the gun on me and runs back to the pick up truck and the passanger drives away. So now I'm watching myself on the ground but I'm not dead. (Like patrick Swayze in Ghost)The ghost me runs to this girl kim (who I'm not that close to)and let her know what happened. She gets another friend of mine,Jill (college friend who introduced me to Kim), to help. Now The ghost me is no longer a ghost and there is a sence of urgency. The guy who shot me knows that I'm not dead. Kim and Jill are doing everything in their power to keep the guys away from me. I am at an event where there are a lot of people and the guys show up I'm trying to make an escape but they catch up and say that I'm lucky because there is so many people around. Now, I'm on a bus in my old neighbourhood going to meet Kim at a park to discuss something but I don't know what. When at the park we are being discreat so people don't notice us and see that we are talking. | | | | | | | Darkwing (7548)

| | Hi, Simoneetah. Well, both these dreams have similar basic meanings, and I will attempt to show you how I reached my conclusions. Dream 1 The Sun in your dream, symbolises peace of mind, enlightenment, tranquility, fortune, goodwill, and insight, as well as radiant energy. It is a good omen to have the sun shining in your dream. However, if you occupy the back seat of the car, then it indicates that you are putting yourself down and are allowing others to take over... maybe as a result of low self-esteem or lack of self-confidence. It is an indication of your dependence and how much control you have over your life. To see your brother in your dream, may indicate some aspect of your relationship with him. It can also serve to remind you that someone in your waking life has certain behavioral patterns which are similar to your brother's. Dream 2 To see a turquoise pick-up truck in your dream, represents hard work. It also suggests your need to return to the basics, but the colour turquoise is symbolic of healing power and natural energy. It is often associated with the sun, fire, and male power. So maybe you've already realised your need to get down to the real nitty gritty in some area of your life, and shape it for the future. To see a man in your dream, denotes the masculine aspect of yourself - the side that is assertive, rational, aggressive, or competitive. The gun is a symbol of your aggression, anger, and also potential danger. You may be dealing with issues of passiveness and aggressiveness or authority and dependence. The fact that the guy shoots you with a gun, suggests that you are experiencing some confrontation in your waking life. You may feel victimised in some situation. I don't know whether you did or not, but if you saw a wound, this is symbolic of grief, anger, and distress. You are looking to be healed. If you didn't see a wound but were hurt, you have wounded emotions or feelings that you may have suppressed. You need to address these feelings in order to properly heal. Your friends signify parts of your personality rejected by you, but that you are ready to integrate these rejected parts of yourself. The relationships you have with those around you are important in your learning about yourself. Additionally, this symbol foretells of happy words from them and the arrival of good news. The feeling of fear, outlines that your achievements will not be as successful as you had anticipated; that are having anxieties in certain circumstances of your life. Riding on a bus, implies that you are going along with the crowd. You are lacking originality and are taking no control over where your life is taking you. Being in the park, represents a temporary escape from reality. It indicates renewal, meditation, and spirituality. It is also an indication of a readjustment period after a serious personal conflict or an ending of a passionate affair. Maybe this rings a bell for you. So, summing up, it seems you have issues to deal with personal conflict, personal control and your work, whether it be college work, or physical work, or just achievements in life, which you are rejecting, because you feel you've lost control of these feelings. But, all is not lost! You have your masculine self to help you out of this. With the use of your aggressiveness, competitiveness and the art of rationalising, you can turn things around, go back to basics and approach from a different angle. Gain control over your life again, and know where you're going and where you want to be. There is sunshine at the end, for your efforts and good news, too? Maybe there's some achievement, you wish to attain... it can be yours, if you approach it in the right way. Apply your positive mental attitude, and forge ahead, into the sunlight again. Show the World you're in control and you have everything to gain and nothing to lose. That sounds a bit repetitive, but all the objects in your dreams point to similar things, which only reiterates your need to address your fears, as there is a danger of sliding even further off course. You seem to have suppressed your ability to climb to the top, perhaps in order to avoid further confrontation with somebody. Brightest Blessings. | | | | Simoneetah (175)

| | Hello again. I just wanted to say that your interpretation of my dream of me getting shot was very reflective of my relationship with my boyfriend. I actually worked up the courage and broke up with him this weekend. | | Thank you, my friend, for coming back and telling me about your break-up with your boyfriend. I have a feeling that subconsciously, he was suppressing your talents and your ability to move forward, somehow. The shooting part of your dream would indicate this, and also, your escape to the park, and freedom from something or somebody suppressive in your life. Time will tell, my friend. No doubt, it's a sad and bewildering time for you, but I think things will become clearer and you will understand why you felt the need to make this split. Much luck for the future, and Brightest Blessings, my friend, and thank you again. x | | | | | | | Sleep Troubles? | | I had another dream last night that really disturbed me. I was planning how to cut up some fabric for making a quilt top. I have never done this before, so I've been planning out how to do it. While I was still awake I was thinking: first I iron the fabric and get several peices laid out so I can strip cut them. I don't know when I exactly went to sleep, but I dreamed I was cutting the fabric with a rolling cutter. cut up the sides, then the strips and then was going to cut the top and discovered that what I was cutting up were 3 yellow kittens instead, and they were still somehow alive. That scared me so bad I woke up. | | | | | | | Darkwing (7548)
|
| | Ok... I'll see what I can do, my friend. If you dream that you are cutting something, regardless of what you're cutting, or what with, the symbol is the same; a broken relationship or severed connection. The colour, yellow, if in an unpleasant dream represents cowardice and sickness; maybe a fear or inability to make a decision or take action. As a result, you are experiencing many setbacks. (Now, this could apply only to your indecision as to go about making your quilt top, as it's a new experience, but read on). The appearance of a kitten, if not white in colour, indicates trouble ahead for you. Again, I would think this might just refer to your project not coming out quite the way you want it to, as it was playing on your mind when you fell asleep. However, only you knows whether there is something else bothering you, maybe the break-up of a relationship which you can't make a decision or take action on? Are you experiencing set-backs in a relationship? Are you not sure what to do about it? Ask yourself these questions and you'll be able to understand the dream, I'm sure. Brightest Blessings. | | | | ElicBxn (24681)

| | I like yellow cats, but I've only just gotten one to survive past 4. I currently have 2 other coming into the critical 3 to 4 yr age, so I'm watching them pretty close. But the kitten that I noticed, even tho he was a ginger kitten, had Tony's little face. I don't really have any relationship to go sour, just trying to creat a relationship for the first time in years. I woke up and went back to sleep dreaming of the fabric, because I told myself that I had been cutting fabric there was no way the kittens had gotten in there. And the fabric is the stuff I was sorting last night before I went to sleep. | | | | Darkwing (7548)

| | Maybe your dream doesn't point to a human relationship; it may point to your struggle to get the kittens past the age of four? It's something you're not sure of how to go about, and the cutting off might be the loss of one of those kittens? As for your trying to build a relationship, could it be that you're undecided as to whom you want the relationship with? I'm not sure who Tony is... is he a prospective relationship or a kitten? I think if you look at the broader picture, there is a message in your dream. Brightest Blessings. | | | | ElicBxn (24681)

| | Hmmmm, that figures. If he's the one mainly on your mind, and you have been forming a "relationship" with Tony, then that could be why you saw his face. It may be that you're afraid you're going to lose him. Keep faith, my friend. | | | | ElicBxn (24681)

| | That may be. We really need to find him a home, but I can't say we're looking too hard. Fact is, that except for Serena & Roxie, we wouldn't mind keeping the other 3. In fact, Tuti is nearly unadoptable because of her looks, over weight with a over grooming problem, so she's got some serious hair loss. Her "sister" an unrelated female cat adopted at the same time is more adoptable, but since they are both getting close to 6 that makes them even harder to adopt & they are both black. | | | | Darkwing (7548)

| | Hi DreamWeaver I have been going around myLot gathering peeps who want their dreams interpreted and directing them over here to this discussion and hopefully the will make it Darkwing LOL I had a dream the other night, well rather a sharp fast image more than a long drawn out dream. It was of a former lover who was in some sort of distress and was literally tied up with some sort of plastic tubing on wrists and ankles. I am not talking sado macho LOL, but anyways that was the dream. What do you think? | | | | | | | Darkwing (7548)
|
| | Ha ha ha... you have, have ya? I didn't see them yet! lol. Right, your dream is not very clear, but I'll pull what I can from it. Dreaming that you or indeed, others are in distress, suggest that things will turn out better than you expected. You will discover that your worries were all unfounded and you need to lighten up. The appearance of your Ex, means something or someone in your current life brings out similar feelings your ex did. This may be alerting you to the same or similar behavior in a current relationship, in that what you learnt from that previous relationship may need to be applied to the current one so you don't repeat the same mistake. However, past lovers often reflect the positive experiences you had with that person. In the case of your dream being of an ex-husband, this would indicate that you are finding yourself in a situation that you don't want to be in. It suggests that you're experiencing a similar relationship or situation which makes you feel unhappy and uncomfortable. Bondage just symbolises restriction or forceful limitation. I hope this clarifies things. To my mind, knowing what I do, it possibly does, but again, only you can know the real meaning... this interpretation might just jog you into realising what the dream was really about. Brightest Blessings. | | | | TheHairDresser (3350)

| | Why can I never remember my dreams when I want to? I wish I could cos I would love to hear your interpretation sweets! Can you explain sleepwalking? Niamh does that a lot, we have caught her trying to climb in her brothers wardrobe before! She will even laugh, cry and hold full conversations in her sleep - the spookiest thing though is when she sits bolt upright in bed with her eyes open but is really sound asleep! Any ideas sweety or is the insanity being passed down the family? lol xxx | | | | | | | Darkwing (7548)

| | No matter, my friend. I don't remember all my dreams, just the occasional one, but I make notes when I wake from them and analyse them the next day, when I've got the notes to hand. As it happens... yes, I can explain a little about sleepwalking. It is quite common in children and possibly brought on by fatigue from the day's play, sleep lost the previous night, or disruption in their family life... maybe a house move, divorce or the illness of a family member. It would be interesting to know whether it started when your back problems did? It happens during REM, when most of us are in "paralysed" sleep. They're in deep sleep, but they sort of "act out" their dreams... may even talk. The child can sit upright in bed, with their eyes open, and may sit in that position for a while, repeating certain movements like fumbling with their clothes or repeatedly rubbing their eyes. Then, they might get out of bed and walk around, with a dazed look. The may talk also, but their speech and actions might be clumsy. If you talk to them, they probably won't respond because they are asleep. Don't attempt to wake them at this stage with a loud noise, shouting or by shaking them; gently guide them back to bed. Most children grow out of sleepwalking but if it goes on for a really long time, it might be a good idea to consult your doctor, but this often isn't necessary. You can ensure your child's safety during these times by locking bedroom windows and making sure all hazardous objects are removed, and ensuring they can't fall down the stairs. There are no emotional problems involved, so you need not worry on that score. I hope this explains things for you, my friend... and no, the insanity hasn't reached her yet! ha ha ha. Brightest Blessings. xxxx | | | | mummymo (11642)

| | thank you so much Darkwing sweetheart - that is fantastic! She has always been this way as soon as she was physically capabable but I have thought about this and when my back problems started getting bad her sleepwalking did get worse! Wow - quite amazing huh? Very often we find her doing the sitting up in bed talking or mumbling to herself, eyes wide open and sound asleep and then we gently coax her to lie back down and tuck her in - do you think that we are catching her before she sets off on another 'adventure'? Thank you my dear friend for setting my mind at rest on this one - and I am so glad that you don't think she is inheriting the insanity yet! lots of love xxxx | | | | Darkwing (7548)

| | Yes, I think maybe you're making her feel a little more secure by gently lying her back down and tucking her in. In fact, if you can fathom about how long she's sleeping before sleepwalking, it might help to wake her about half an hour before that period, for whatever reason, and maybe she won't go into such a deep stage of sleep. Of course, there's no need to do that unless you're really bothered about it. I'm sure as you improve, so will her sleepwalking habits. xxx | | | | | | | Flash Tutorials CS3 & CS4 Flash Training for All Levels Tutorials/Source Files/Flash Support! www.MasterFlash.net | add comment | | | |
