You see... this is a discussion which is not going to get any responses unless somebody has actually built an electric bike, from whatever resources. To be perfectly honest, I know two people who were gifted with one from a local distributor, and they both love them. They get them from A to B much faster, and they wouldn't do without them now. That's a much simpler question to answer, but if you ask if I've built one, as with many others, my answer would be "no", so I move on to the next discussion without responding to yours. Get my drift?

I admire you for having built an electric bike out of bits and bobs from the junk yard though... very inovative. Well done, and Brightest Blessings.
