hunger sound!!!!

When you have just eaten and probably taken more than you should,you belch,but when your stomach is empty and you are hungry you hear funny growling sounds,is there any medical explanation for this?

its the walls of your stomach pressing upon each other and making a rubbing sound. if there is food inside your stomach, it presses against the food and processes it... its nothing bad, but you should always have a lil food in your stomach just to prevent these and any damage to your stomach walls..

thanks and i will always make sure there si always something in my tank so that it does not make so much noise
