what do you think about tango music? is it only for ballroom dance?

i just listen tango music "el tango para violin". When i close my eyes, i could imagine how tango dance as movie "take the lead". Is tango music also can be in concert as other music? Why not all people like this kind of genre? For me, tango music are romantic and dynamic and its nice for movie soundtrack.
