Well I saw this last night only because every other movie at the cinema was full. I wasn't that excited about it, thinking it would just be another romantic comedy. I have to say I enjoyed it so much! It was quite funny and the acting was great, especially from the little girl Mia, played by Abigail Breslin. It was told from a different angle and was entertaining the whole way through. I particularly liked how the movie was set mostly in the early 90s. It was refreshing to see that time period recreated instead of the usual flashbacks to the 70s or 80s. It may not be for everyone, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait until it comes out on DVD so I can see it again!

Really? I didn't hold out much hope for it by its commercials. I think Ryan Reynolds is underrated, and Abigail Breslin has sure shot to fame since she was in Little Miss Sunshine. I didn't see the movie, but she was sure cute in the commercials. Did the guy in the movie end up with Rachel Weisz's character? She was the lady with the very dark hair, but then again, I don't remember what all three of the women looked like in the commercials, so I could be describing more than one. She's the woman who was in the Mummy movies.

Thanks for passing that information on coffeeshot! I'll be waiting for it to come out on dvd since we're with netflix, it'll be cheaper for us to "rent" it then. Anyway, I wondered if it were any good and I'll take your word for it and rent it when it comes out!! Again, thanks!!
