Finally after aiding the Lakers on the road, Gasol gets to be introduced in his new home town, Los Angeles.
Now that he will be able to play at home and become more accustomed to his teamates.. how do you think he will do?
In these last 30 games, I think Gasol is going to be solid. Particularly, because of Kobes injured pinky. Im sure with an ailing Bryant, Gasol and Odom will be able to gain more touches.
Im going to go out on a limb here, and state that I believe Pau will come up big. Hes going to average 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assist, in the first ten games, while Bryant gets use to his new role. Then after that, I think we will see less from Pau statistically, but we will see major smart plays where he is not the scorer but he makes the right decisions, such as a key block or a stellar assist. I think after ten to fifteen games, his scoring is going to drop because of Bynums return and Kobes adjustment.
How do you think that Pau Gasol will perform in these last 30 games of the NBA season?

That's what I love about Pau, he is a player with character and intellect. He understands that he cannot get ahead of himself, that he needs to focus on his craft, and that you must work hard. If only all NBA players had that attitude...
Also, I think some who are not familiar with Pau because he was in a small market team, dont realize the titanic talent that the Lakers have received in Gasol.
They always knock him for never winning a playoff game, but he attempted that task while expected to be the #1 guy. Which frankly he is not. Gasol is a supreme talent, but he is not the type that can carry a team on his back, and that's fine. Not all players can be the franchise type. Thankfully, he has not been place on a team where he can play his own game, and leave the heavy lifting, to a guy that's perfect for it... Kobe Bryant.
