| Did anyone watch Shaq O'Neal Debut with the Phoenix Suns?  | | | |  It was the showdown of two former championship teammates who turned into bitter rivals.
Shaq and the Phoenix Suns were hosting Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers. This was also Shaq's debut in a Sun uniform since the blockbuster trade that dealt Shawn Marion to the Miami Heat.
Bryant scored 41 points as the Lakers easily beat the Phoenix Suns last night.
I watched the game and saw that Shaq had no impact whatsoever on the Suns offense or defense. It was like watching a big MAC truck in the fast lane of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. I expected more from him. Maybe it's too early to judge after only one game.
What's your take on this?

| |  Shaq is not the shaq we used to know. He is not as dominant as before. I think the suns took a bad gamble on the aging O'neal. They are suffering the consequences of trading a good player!

| | I agree Shaq has lost a step or two. I remember a couple of years ago when the Lakers traded him, I thought they were crazy. It looks now like a stroke of genius getting rid of his $20 million plus contract a year.
I thought Shaq might have a positive impact for the Suns. Judging by last night's game, that may have been wishful thinking.
