no, I can't say as i do.. My daughter is on the lower side of the growth rate chart, so i had the oppisite problem you are having now with your son. My daughter is REALLY tall and skinny. I guess that makes sense since both her parents are slender and tallish.

I have a similar problem with my kids. My 2 oldest are 4 yrs apart but they look like twins,my daughter who is younger than her brother is the same height and weight, the same with my 2 youngest, they are 15 months apart and yet they look like twins. All 4 find it very funny to dress alike so people actually think they are 2 sets of twins. They all range from 13 to 7. All clothes are made for the average sized child. There are some under average sized and above average sized children. My 2 oldest are above average sizes and my 2 youngest are under average sizes. So I wouldn't put too much stock in what people think, it will all work out in the end.

I have the exact opposite problem...people look at me strange when i tell them my daughter is almost two because she is so small. she is only in 18 month clothes and that is just so her pants are long enough. they are to big in her waist. she is tiny for her age, but she is very tall for her age as well. i wouldn't worry to much on what people think. you are his mother and that's all that matters. everyone else doesn't mean crap when it comes to you and your son. be happy that he's a healthy baby and just go on. laugh it off and don't let it irritate you or aggravate you. it's not worth it. good luck and God bless

My son has always been big, but I never had this problem. The sales person should be able to tell just by looking at your son that he needs a bigger size. I don't know where they get those sizes. Most babies I have ever known were either bigger or smaller- and rarely does a 6 month old actually fit in an outfit that is sized 6 months. At least not in my experience, and I've known lots of babies.
