my nephews and niece have been attending in this high society school, where they have subjects such as zoology, botany and algebra in the 2nd and 3rd grade... Advance as it may seem, my nephew and niece don;t know how to ride a bike, fly a kite, they are not familiar with the fruits and vegetables that are seen everyday at the house... We do tell them what it is, but all they could comment is, "I don't know that...", and to think how advance their subjects are.
Right now, my niece is 9 years old, and in a year or so she may have her first period, but when I asked her if she knew what a monthly period was, she didn't know... At the age of 8, we has an introduction about that, so by the time I got my period I wasn't so ignorant.
Another thing, my niece and nephew lack in manners... sometimes they do things that are unexpected, like slapping house hold helpers, telling them stuff like.. "you don't know how to understand? you don;t know that?"
Sometimes I think we should have them transferred to another school that has a basic foundation before going on to the advance levels..
Because these kids are having a hard time to cope with all the advance things to learn, where in fact, their minds aren't prepared to process.
