Some digital photo frames are being shipped with a potentially nasty computer virus!his is hardly the first time that a technology product has shipped with a virus infection. Apple made headlines in 2006 for shipping a Windows virus on numerous video iPods. In recent years, products from Creative Labs, TomTom, Seagate, and even a cheap McDonald's gadget have come from the factory bearing unwanted gifts.
It's Limited to the InSignia frames.

I hadn't heard that yet, so thanks for sharing it! I actually didn't realize that some iPods came with viruses. I guess I was lucky that I didn't get one of the bad ones. I had considered buying a digital photo frame as a gift for someone, but now that I've read your warning, I'm kind of glad I haven't spent the money on it just in case!

The information you shared is very important. Thats the first time I heard about this set up and it is quite helpful since you can never really tell if it is there or not. At least we can be prepared. Though I am not using Insignia frames for the sake of others who are, they can be forewarned.
