Our school hired a well-dictioned, english speaking teacher, whom presented impressive credentials and was said to have worked in the states.
But then a year and a few months after, they found out that all the information he passed to the HR department was forged. And students have noticed his peculiar behavior and unbelievable stories, such as last summer his daughter was 2 months old, and then when his co-teachers asked him about his child, he said his son is 2 months old... Hmmmm... what doe that tell us...
What would you do if you found out that the school hired this type of person?

how come he bypass the investigation and got a position in the school, you mean the school did not scrutinize his credentials?
about his behavior, do you think he is up to psychological disorder or just plain exaggerated. because i don't think he can pass the initial interview with the guidance councilor if he has a mental problem.
does he do his teaching work well? because if he is good then the school might loose an asset if he got fired or terminated.

I know!
well our dean was so impressed with how he spoke, plus, all his referrals were in the states.
but i don't now why they didn't find other ways to check him out.
