I have used TiresPLus many years for regular maintenance on my car. I usually go on weekend. It's always packed so they tell me to schedule an appointment. So Friday I call to set up an appointment for Saturday for an oil change, wiper blades replaced and tire rotation. The young kid on the phone very rudely stated, You can't make an appointment. That set me off. So I asked to speak to a manager. After talking with him I explained my past experiences with them and appointments etc. Seems this kid is a new employee. The manager stated he doesn't have very good people skills. Well DUHH! The kid should have said they don't accept appointments on weekends. But he rudely said I CAN'T make one. HAHAHA! All told after talking to the manager I got excellent customer service. I will keep returning as they treat me very well. I recieved a discount on my services well below the original estimate from Friday. I got an oil change, a new wiper replaced, tires rotated, and a new air filter with a complete check over of the cars mechanics and tires etc. This was all under $40. To top it all off I completed an online survey of my visit to earn a $10 discount off my next service of $25 or more as well. Well when i signed up for my bundle for my internet, phone, long distance plan, and digital cable, i was given a set rate of 105$ a month for as long as i kept the package. . Well 4 months later they tacked on an extra 20$ plus tax!! I called and talked to the customer service people, and they told me the long distance was only a promition for the four months, but i KNOW that when i spoked with the guy who set up the bundle he SAID everything in the bundle.. So the rep told me she could credit my account the price of the long distance for the rest of the year but that was all she was authorized to do. and i know that sometimes they record calls so i asked them in investigate the call because i knew for sure what the guy said. And then she transfered me to a manager in which she decided to give me credit for the rest of the year, plus another year, so all together my account was credited 379 $ so i dont have to pay my bill for roughtly 3 months. Good enough i guess ;)

Well good for you for standing up for what was origianlly offered. I hate when this type of thing happens and not informed of a price hike up front. Grats and keep it up. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Grandpa Bob I got really great service last week at Target. I went in to look for the plastic insert of an wallet. The one that holds your cards. I walked up to a girl who was putting bras away and asked her if she could tell me where I could get the item. She did not know where but she found out where I could find them. Then she walked me over to where they where kept if they had any. She even went into the back to see if they had any that has fallen out of a wallet they could sell me. She then appolgized to me when she could not get me one. She was very helpfull to me and polite. I got great service at target.

Those inserts are really hard to find. I want some for my wallet to carry photos of my grandsons and can't find them either. Some employees will bend over backwards to make a customer happy. Then there's the ones that could care less about the customer. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

We once went to a Long John Silver restaraunt and the place was filthy and we got sick from the food. I called the 800 number to leave my comments and after a few dyas the company headquarters called us and said that they had fired the manager of that restaruant and gave my family free meals for a year.

seems you got a very good deal. I have stories written about customer service, that I did not get, and I have been a customer service rep for many years.

I work in Customer Service. It is nice to hear from someone who has had good experiences. We eat at a restaurant called O'charleys on a somewhat regular basis. There is a waitress there we really like. She is genuine. Even if we are not seated in her section she will come over to us and say hello, and speak with my 4 year old daughter. It's these extra little moments that make a difference.
