I am trying to learn my way in the transcription business but how long can a three-hour audio be completed? I understand, it depends on many factors including the technology involved (if the transcriptionist has a foot pedal or not). Please specify the situation like for example, how long can a transcription with 100 wpm speed finish a three-hour recording. I just need some help here. Any honest discussant is welcome to post. Thanks.

Hi there Clowdine, I can share something to you about the pay since I tried this business before and hopefully I can get this kind of job back. Anywyz, for someone who has 100wpm can finished a 3 hour audio for less than 2 days, that's the TAT or turn-around time. I hope I can join you in this kind of business, just in case you need a hand. Let me know.

Really? What happened? Were you working freelance or full-time? As for me,I don't have any permanent transcription job right now. I was just lucky to win this project after bidding the lowest. I work freelance and haven't found any big project but it's a good idea you're suggesting. One of my friends asked my help in the past because someone she knew was on a tight deadline. I could refer you to some of the websites I get my projects. I will invite you first in to my friendship circle so I can send to you my referral link.
