Everyone recommended Rockports, but I agree that they are very uncomfortable and they wear out way too quick.

Thanks for the advice. I've tried a lot of that stuff and have come to the realization that if you buy a decent pair of well fitting shoes, you shouldn't need all that stuff. Hence this topic, because I've yet to find one. I'm willing to spend a few hundred if needed...

Depends. I have found thatin all my sneakers, I've even bought top line sneakers (which is the only clothign type of thing I would spend so much on for need) as my feet are so sensitive. But I still need extra padding.

If you worse sneakers and had to stand all day, would your feet react the same way? If so, I'd think you still nee better padding. Good luck.

Good point. Actually I used to wear sneakers at the same place doing a different job. My feet did not nearly bother me as much as they do now which makes me think it's the shoes.

I will look into SAS I've heard a lot of reccomendations for them. My father worked in the shoe industry for 30 years (he's no longer with us) and basically his opinion is that if you get a good pair of well fitting shoes you shouldn't need that other stuff. I kind've agree.

Thanks so much D for the advice. I've looked at the echo's since they have such a good reputation, but so far the only stores that carry them don't carry them in a small enough size. I have this problem a lot...I swear I should just fly to Japan, buy clothes and shoes and come back. Then I could get stuff off the shelf and racks that actually fits. :)

Hey, wasn't there an episode of Friends about Joey and his size 7 foot??? He was pretty stylin. Maybe we can find out where he got his shoes??? ;)

Gee D, I do not know. But I would say they have.
go to your local pharmacy and ask.
I think they were called "Aqua soles" I cannot remember.
But they are excellent.
You have no pressure on your feet or legs.
The ones I had were filled with blue liquid.

The soles can help, my main problem really is that most shoes don't fit. Qaulity shoes don't seem to comein a small enough size. When I've added the gel insoles they do help, but it messes with the arch, for me at aleast.

Nike used to make tennis that had the liquid insoles built in. They were most comfortable of shoes I've ever owned.
