Do you use a daily planner?  |

|  I love using a daily planner, but I wish you could find them all year long. For the most part you can only buy them at the first of the year, with the exception of refill pages. It would appear its a seasonal item. Do you use a daily planner or an online calendar program? And by the way does anyone know a good free calendar program for pc's?

| |  I had to start using a daily planner about 3 1/2 yrs ago. My Husband had a steel Beam fall on him at work. It struck his R. Frontal Lobe of his head. Brain injury. I had to take him everyday for therapy, remember what I was told, what days I had to see the Attorney. Who to call and time, appts, addresses, and everything that was said I wrote down to tell the next person in line. It saved me !! In 3 yrs I went through 5 0f them.
My husband has a permenant Disability. But we love each other and our friends and God has seen us both through.

| |  I don't use daily planner at all. But I remember things to do or something special like birthdays and all in my mobile. That's it. Unfortunately I also don't know about any daily planner.

| |  Hi there! I don't have a daily planner and I think that I don't need it. If there's a special day that should be remembers, I just mark them on the calendar hung in our dining room or set an alarm for it in my mobile phone.

| |  Hey KB, I do not have the need to use a daily planner.
I use the reminders on my cell phone for doctors appointments.
That is all I really need reminding of.

| | Believe it or not I don't carry a cell phone with me most of the time. And I like a day planner, because its quicker to jot down notes, than having to enter events into a phone, but thats just what works for me. | | | |

| |  I have an Apple computer that comes with a great piece of software that has the catchy name "iCal". All Apple programs are interactive so, for example, if I update my calendar with an address, it automatically asks if I want to put this into my database of contacts. There must be 100s of calendars for Windows. Try www.Download.com, that's the CNET site, they have stacks of stuff there. Good luck.

| |  You should be able to order the entire planner from stores such as Staples and Office Depot/Max online. They may not carry them in the stores due to seasonal needs, but they do have everything on their websites. You may end up wasting part of the calendar since they all start with January, but for someone who uses something so often, it's a good deal.
I have a daily planner book, but I am forever forgetting it places. I have my phone which connects to my Microsoft Outlook calendar and e-mail and that pretty much works for me. I find that daily planners don't give me enough room to write down all the information that I need to retain.
I have Cozi as well. It's pretty neat but can also be a resource hog on your computer. So if you are running a slow computer without much memory, I don't recommend it. Good Luck!
