Pros:
Ray Liotta played bad.. really good. Andre Benjamin from Outkast gave a fantastic performance.
Cons:
The only bad thing.. is that directors don't produce more risky stuff as this.
My Impression:
Plot Details: This opinion reveals minor details about the movie''s plot.
"Revolver" is a drama/action movie Directed by: Guy Ritchie.
Topnotch gambler, Jake Green, relies solely on skills and street knowledge. Rising from loser to winning gambler, he proceeds to create an enemy of crimeboss "Macha" by trumping him in a card game and humiliating "Macha" for losing. Then he seals his fate when he takes the cash and runs. Jake has now, placed a price on his head. As he seeks to outrun his nemesis, he ends up working for a pair of brothers. Who mysteriously seek to protect him and seek to "get" Macha.
The strength and vitality of "Revolver" is the curious way that it links violence_and_philosophy. Speaking in strategy about figurative combat(and life) it gives depth to a movie that would have been merely good, for its strong acting and killer action. The ending is abrupt as it concludes and leaves no end credits. But you are left to choose your own conclusion, out of a creative splendor. The story is one of mystery and doubt and is great at taking cinematic risks. The dialog is witty and fluidly delicious. Jason Statham was solid as the main man... in this outstanding film.
