My first name is Megan and I was name after Megan Williams, a 1980's actress eho had breast cancer. My middle name is Wendy and I was named that in honour of my mothers sister (my aunty) who was tragically killed quite young in a car accident before I was born. Megan is believed to mean "strong" or may be a derivitive of the name "Margaret" and mean "pearl". :D What does Carly mean?

I was named Amanda, after my Grandmother's sister (on my mom's side). She was hit and killed by a drunk driver in the early 1920s I think. She was young, and was almost finished nursing school. She never went to any parties, but she was graduating, and her sisters, friends and parents urged her to go to a celebratory party out of town. Their car was hit by a drunk driver and she went through the windshield.
