In some countries having children is considered a way of "investing in the future", and young people are expected to give money to their parents when they get a job, and then to care for them when they retire. What are the good points and what are the bad points about this system?

Well, the investment part is terrible! My parents never asked me for money when i started working and never accepted it when i tried to give. After their retirement, i think we have the moral aspect of helping them in whatever they need but... remembering we have a life of our own! We can't quit our jobs to stay and take care of them! I think each people knows what to do and what they want to do!
