if god give you a chance to clear your mistakes,which one do you clear?

When a small cat wanted to come inside my house in the night as it was incessantly raining, I was afraid what it will do and how it will react when we are all sleeping. Hence I sent it away. But I made a card board box provision for that to hide from the rain and gave milk as food. But now it has become our pet cat and I take very good care of her with vet doctor visits, vaccinations, imported cat food etc. It also loves all of us like anything. But I still feel very sorry for what I have done.
