Interesting post mgmagana.
I voted for him and I will be happy to see him go though I don't think I am going to be happy with the new president whoever it is going to be. Neither Obama, Clinton or McCain reflect my political world view. It's going to be a long ride.
But I probably am ready to see him go for reasons other than you might think. I think he did a reasonably good job at managing the war on terrorism. Can we all agree on all aspects of it? Of course not. If you look back in history there was a very loud and vocal portion of our population that did not want us involved in WWII. So I don't buy into the media hype about the displeasure with the war effort. My reasons are that he is not conservative enough. I would have wanted him to fight the war MORE aggressively. I want to protect our borders with MORE urgency. I think that he was swayed too much by the influences of the media.
Speaking of the media, I think that most people are of the opinion that he is "dumb" from media perceptions. He clearly is not a very good public speaker. But the man is highly educated and has a track record of success in virtually everything he had done prior to becoming president. Did he somehow lose his education and experiences once he was elected to office? No, but our media painted that picture. His inablity to speak well certainly didn't help.

Sorry had to reply. What war on terrorism are you referring to. All evidence pointed to conspiracy during 9/11. It's obvious there were no airplane terrorists as these 19 people named as the "bombers" are still alive today. So the whole war was based on falsified documents and a LIE portrayed to the American public as a terrorist attack. Personally, I believe if Bush weren't in office there'd be no "war."
Crude oil prices are skyrocketing, the economy is in the worst shape it has ever been. Unemployment is higher than ever and you think this man has done a good job? Personally I invite any change to the office, though real change wont come about until we overthrow the whole system and create a just one. That's a whole other subject though...

Intersting Shamsta19.
I have two questions.
1. How do you explain the first attack on the World Trade Centers in 1993 when Clinton was president?
2. After taking a look at these things below, are these all plots designed by President Bush? Or maybe just a huge government conspiracy?
Oct 12, 2000 - Terrorist attack USS Cole killing 17, injuring 39 (Clinton president)
Aug 7, 1998 - Terrorists bomb embassies in Kenya and Tanzania killing 297 injuring more than 5000 (Clinton president)
June 25, 1996 - Bomb aboard a fuel truck explodes outside Khubar Towers in Saudi Arabia, killing 19 injuring 515 (Clinton President)
February 1993 - Bomb in a van explodes under the World Trade Center killing 6 and injuring 1042 (Clinton president)
Dec 21, 1988 - Bomb destroys Pan AM flight 103 over Lockerbie Scotland, 259 killed, 189 were Americans. (Reagan president)
April 5, 1986 - Terrorist bomb destroys bomb destroys a night club frequented by US servicemen in West Berlin kills 3 injures 150 (Reagan president)
It seems they have been at war with us for a long time regardless of who was president. We were just not fighting back.

1. I can't explain anything. I was in NY when that happened too. Seems to me like they were planning the destruction of the building for awhile. It's not Bush. They are obviously other hands at work. Check those Skull and Bones guys out maybe they know.
2. 1930' -60's - Government performs the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiments on young men in Alabama.
1968 - Government scientists make the request to create a massive super disease with the intent of killing mass amounts of "non desirable" population in Amerikkka. Check the library of Congress, it's right there.
1970 - President Jimmy Carter signs Bill Global 2000 which has the same intent.
Government has been corrupt since the beginning of time. Didn't like Clinton or Reagan much either you know. I'm sure we can go back to our governments origin and find corruption so what is you point sir? If it is just in defense of President dumb***, I mean Bush, I appreciate the response. Really, wow, that's awesome! I am happy about Obama, I really do hope he can make lots of changes, i know it'll be hard to fix this economy, but as long as he is headed in the right direction I'm all for it! I hear there r many conspiracies to assassinate him, i do pray him guidance because that would be so tragic, and I really do hope it doesn't happen. That's my biggest fear.

We have sat around and said the same thing as well. I hope nothing happens to this man. Even Barack has said we should expect the economy to get worse before it gets better but as long as he is trying to regulate the issue I will stand behind him. I hope it doesn't get worse than this though it is so bad already for many of us.

Wow I had to check this one out again. You know Guardian and I have become pretty good friends on this site due to this discussion so many months ago. I want to thank you for the best response. How do you feel about our new President Elect?

Although I didn't vote for Bush...he's who I wanted in office and I'm gonna be sorry to see him go. I think he's done the best he could considering everything and regardless of what some may think, I think he saw this country through a terrible time.
