I'M BACK! At the beginning of last week I wrote a discussion that explained that I was going to be gone for the most part of this week attending an employment workshop. And how I was going to go through withdrawals being away from mylot. Well, first of all I just want to thank everyone that commented on that post. I got so much support and so many people letting me know how valued a member I was on this site. I was very touched by the feedback I received. So thank you to one and all. Secondly, I just want to share with you what a positive experience the workshop was for me. The instructor was energetic, educational and fun. Her attitude in itself was a lesson. The course work gave me a whole new perspective of what I want, what my values are and where I would be the best fit. I learned that no matter how bad you think your circumstances are, that there is someone else that has a bigger challenge than yours. I learned that in the chaos of our daily lives, tending to others needs, losing loved ones, taking care of our children and other issues the person we lose sight of is ourselves. I learned that anything is possible no matter how big or how far away it may seem. I learned that I am a better person for the experience and I just wanted to share some of that with you. I left the class with a certificate, an A grade for my efforts, 2 college credits and a more determined and confident spirit. Thanks for reading this.

I really enjoyed that post. I am so pleased that the week ha been such a positive experience. The class leader too. You should be so proud of that achievement. I am sure that this is a much needed boost. Thank you for sharing this with us. I have never met you except through myLot, but I feel so pleased and proud of you. One of our own has made a huge step forward. It's only tea, but I raise my mug to you. Hugs and kisses. XXX

hii welcome back, and yes, i will say i missed you. grins hehe well it was weird not seeing new discussions from you for these past few days on my mail as you always seemed to have something.
but i'm really happy for you that you have done so well. yes, maybe you might be here less often now once you are in the workforce, hehehe but still, it's great for you. yes you are right, anything is possible no matter how big or far away it is. you just need to overcome the hurdles, that's all and you need to be strong for that. you did it and now you got such great results. congratulations and have a great day.

Awwww.......that was so nice of you. I did do a little bit of posting, but I guess not as much as I had been doing. Well look forward to me getting back to my old antics, at least until I find a job that is. LOL.

Good to have you back!
Its sure does sound like you got quite a bit out of that workshop and I'm glad you had the opportunity. And you lived through the experience of NO myLOT!
I think my number of posts made up for your absence.

Thanks. Yes I meant to comment yesterday on just how quickly your posts have added up. You've passed me up just about. Good job and I'm so glad you are enjoying this site.

That is great... Sounds like you learned so much... you walked away with a piece of paper... but that is much more than a piece of paper....
you walked a way with a new outlook on life! I think everyone needs to go thru something like this every once in a while!!
