I find a lot of people here at mylot are promoting their referral links or their own sites , in either profile or even posts. Some have gone as far as asking people on their friends list. I know people want to make more money at these programs, that is why they promote referral links. What do you find is the best way to promote them? Or even get signs ups?

I do not get referrals from MyLot. A generic referral link back to the main website doesn't seem to do the job either. I guess a page with boxes for you to join isn't very inviting. So I tried something else. My referrals come from splash pages that I create. This is the best way that I have found to promote a referral link.

Well, I don't think mylot allows that now anymore. I tried to but haven't got any luck..I only invite people now in mylot because this is the only site that paid me..Once the other site pays me I will pay for their membership and get some referrals. Maybe if they pay fast and I pay them I will earn faster..But only if they pay me first. If you got paid by the other sites and you have other sites like myspace or something similar you can post in there as well.

I view it in two ways: 1. You promote your links for others to know and when they join you, you can help that person looking for legitimate ways to earn online. 2. Of course when they join you, you can also benefit from it. In the long run, you can help each other. I learn a lot from here on the programs that others are promoting. But we need to evaluate the programs we're in. I know you are into some earning programs and you understand what we meant here.

I tend to only refer people i directly know either through a PM or email. Occasionally i will make a post on my own webspace if it is tried tested and relevant to all. I do it this way because i know how annoying it is to find other people blanketing spam across messageboards and chat rooms etc. When i see stuff like that i assume the worst as the individual has rarely done any research (tested what they are referring) and its often a scam-site. If i send a link to a friend, whether it be a long-term friend or someone i speak to via the net, they know i don't send junk and will check the link. As the referral is accompanied by a personalised message it avoids the spam filter and the personal content confirms its not a bot-sent piece of spam.
