you should drink 0.5 oz of water per pound of body weight each day and a little more if you are athletic. Do you have trouble drinking enough water? Here are some tips that worked great for me:
1. Fill a jug with the full amount of water you need for the day. Place it on the counter with a cup and every time you go into the kitchen, drink some water.
2. room temperature water, while I found it to be an acquired taste, really does go down easier.
3. I had to acquire a taste for this, too, but I have taken to drinking hot water instead of tea, cocoa or coffee at night.
How about you? Do you have any tips to share for drinking enough water?

I have not managed to acquire a taste for room temperature water. The colder, the better, to my taste buds, so I usually start out with a big glass of ice.
The thing that makes it easiest for me to get the water is to add a few drops of lemon juice to it. It barely flavors it, but I like it more that way. It has also helped me to keep a glass of water by me if I'm watching TV or sitting at the computer. You always hear warnings about how you shouldn't snack when watching TV because it's easy to eat more than you realize. The same thing happens to me with water, but it's OK since it's something that's good for me!!

Thanks for the tips. I myself have a little trouble drinking enough water. You are right about drinking a not so cold water/room temperature water. It easily goes down the body rather than a cold water. I always bring a water bottle beside my bed during night time because I mostly become thirsty as the night goes. I don't really have more tips to add. Thanks for sharing. I'll try bringing a room temperature water rather than a cold water when I go to bed later.
