There is a pack of breakfast ham sticking out between the cans of beans.  | |  When I am out shopping I noticed that alot of shoppers like to leave the stuff they taken from the shelves everywhere and anywhere when they change their mind.
It is human nature to change their minds if their decisions were hasty, but is it really that difficult to put things back onto the right shelf?
I will always return the item back to the original shelf no matter how far I have to walk back, what about you?

| | | | | | 1.  darkblueverbatim (2082) | 2 years ago |  I do a lot of audits in supermarkets and notice that there is a lot of stock taken out of baskets and left anywhere. I also notice a lot of empty drink bottles and wrappers for sweets left around (shoplifting?).
One exercise we did for a major supermarket chain in Australia was to collect all the out-of-place stock count it and work out its value. Even for a small supermarket there was thousands of dollars of out-of-place stock. Customers also won't buy out-of-place stock so the supermarkets are losing a lot of profit, hence prices increase to cover these losses.
Has anyone else seen anything like this?
