How addicted are you to Heroes?

well I first saw heroes on the sci fi channel. It was roughly 11 PM and what do ya know its the first episode. I LOVED it. Low and behold it happened to be a heroes marathon! I literally watched every single episode that night straight through. I loved it to say the very least!

I am VERY addicted to Heroes. However, I am disappointed with Season 2. Now that the strike is over, I hope they will make it up in Season 3. I know they will. Come on... I'm so eager for the new season.

I've been addicted for awhile now..and am getting really anxious for the writers to start writing again. I'm hoping that the 3rd season will be better then the 2nd though, that one really dissappointed me.

I am a complete Heroes addict. When the first season was shown I missed the first episode and my boyfriend was raving about it. Lucky for me it was repeated so I managed to catch up on the episodes before completely losing the plot. I watched it religiously every week until the season finale by which time I was totally hooked and need to know what happened to Peter and Nathan. There was no way I could wait until the following year, so I did a bit of googling and managed to watch the complete second season online. I have to be careful when I talk to people about it as I don't want to give too much away. Season 2 is starting this Thursday in the UK and I will probably end up watching it all over again to refresh my memory! Do you know if the writer's strike is over yet? Can't wait for season 3!

Meh.^_^ I still*like* the show, don't get me wrong here...

--The actors were perfectly cast,
--The characters are*all* interesting people, yes, even the psycho brain-muncher has some personal magnetism to him,
--And the setting, the way Tim Kring and the other writers "cracked the code" works really well.

But...

Trust me when I say this. Volume One is just plain*better* than Volume Two in every way. You wouldn't know it if you jumped in at the start of Volume Two, but...._Heroes_ is actually a good deal more cerebral than this. The*writing* was much,*Much* smarter in Volume One than it was in Volume Two. It made much more sense and was a whole*hell* of a lot edgier and more disturbing.

And yeah, the actors had some great moments in Volume Two, no question....but they were making the best of a bad situation really. A*LOT* of the script and story in Volume Two just*doesn't* add up or make sense really, it's disjointed in a lot of ways.

So yeah....I was addicted. -_- Now I merely like the show. And I'm hoping the damned writers pull it together for Volume Three, really.
