Both of them have different uses as well as advantages. As far as I'm concerned, I prefer debit cards. I don't want to spoil myself with a credit card. I want to purchase and buy things only within my capabilities and control.

I use my debit card most of the time as it does not charge me any interest when I do purchase things since they just take the money right out of my account. I do have a couple of credit cards but try not to use those unless I have to only for emergencies. I do not like having to pay interest fees or fees for using someone elses money.

These days I try not to use my credit cards as I cannot afford the repayments. Being on a very low income means that once the bills are paid, there is little left so I now leave my credit card locked up. I use my debit card when I go food shopping as it is easier than carrying cash these days.

i was using credit card to do shoppin activities tll i realized that i am not kind smart spending. in fact i made ridiculous debt due to using of my credit card. so from that experience, i prefer to use debit card for any shopping purpose. by having debit card, i an able to spend my money more wisely rather than having credit card. so for you people who using credit card rather than debit card, i give you two thumb up cause you should be really smart and wisely speding :)

It all depends, sometimes it is good to use the debit card and other times it is better to use the credit card because depending on what you are buying if there is a problem with the product or the merchant you can always reject/reverse the charge and get your money/credit back whereas with the debit card you have already paid the money. Charging some things also give you extra guarantees or insurance on the item. It depends what your buying.

I like to use credit card. As I can pay for it next month. That means to say I can use my money to a better way during this time. Besides, I will get some gifts to use credit card. As long as I pay it on time, it won't charge me extra fees.

I don't have a credit card or a debit card. But if I had to pick one I would rather have a debit card. I don't want to have any credit cause I think that is how so many people end up in debt. If I don't have the money for it then I should not be buying it.

I use my debit more than I use anything else. LOL!! I don't like to use credit at all. I either use cash or debit which is the same. Have a nice day.

I would have to say I use the debit card the most. I do have one credit card but dont really like to use that. Only for emergencies.

I perfer to use my debit card becuase there is not negative interest to it. The problem comes when more than one person has a copy of the card (husband/wife) and use it without thinking the other person will use it too! I do have a credit card but use it infrequently, like for airline tickets or business expences. The average person has used credit too much...it can be very dangerous!

Hello dear subha. I have not use debit card as it is still new to me. I have only a bank card which is used to get our salary out of it and we can also use it to consume in big department store and supermarkets. I have not exact idea whether this is credit card as I am still in doubt about it because all the money it our bank card is from our salary. I am still at loss about it and would like to figure it out either from you or from the bank later on. Thanks.
