80% of fires

I am in Sheffield England at present. I just picked up the evening paper and there on the front page was the shocking story that 80% of the fires here are started deliberately - pure and simple ARSON. This is disgusting. The majority of this arson appears to be vehicles being set alight. The thing that comes to mind with me is that someone in a genuine accidental fire could lose their life because the firefighters are already out fighting an arson fire thereby lengthening their response time. I think it is high time the law here took into consideration that peoples lives are being put at risk and stop the slap on the wrist sentences. Maybe England needs the 3 strikes and you're out law - 3 times and you are jailed for life without parole. Something needs to be done to stop this madness and life threatening behaviour.
