| I saw this on my email homepage  | | | |  I saw this story on my email hompage about Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon this morning, and have to admit,I was quite shocked!!! Thought this was one of the Hollywood couples that had what it takes to make it in such a superficial world. What do you guys think about it??

Witherspoon, 30, and Phillippe, 32, reportedly met at her 21st birthday party before working together on the 1999 film "Cruel Intentions." They married in June of that year and have two children, 7-year-old daughter Ava and 3-year-old son Deacon.
The publicists gave no additional details about the split but the celebrity Web site TMZ.com, which broke the story, reported that Witherspoon has contacted the divorce lawyer who represented Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Marie Presley.

| |  You are joking right?! I too totally thought they had what it takes to stay together. I really didn't see that one coming. Blimey! There must be something seriously stressful about marrying a celebrity! They are all breaking up! It's almost as if you 'have' to when you are a star!

| |  I'm never shocked when I hear of celebrities getting divorced. Most of them are selfish, narcissistic and get everything handed to them. So the idea of "working it out" doesn't even occur to them.
Besides, money and fame are bad for a marriage.
