 last night my hubby and I went to pick up my daughter's blanket at his mothers house as she always wants her blanket with her. my hubbys friend opted to come along. my daughter was half asleep on my lap in the backseat. when we got to the gate, the friend refused to open the gate. my hubby couldnt get out as the handbrake is faulty and he had to keep his foot on the brake. the friend didnt care. its my work to serve my husband. the childlock was on and i had to wake my daughter to get out. what an assh. my hubby was shocked. they have been friends for 25 years. i pity his wife. i cried the whole evening as i wasnt used to this kind of disrespect. am i chopped liver? my hubby did confront him but he just shrugged.

i agree with the feeling sorry for his wife thats for sure!
what i find odd is that you say your husband has been friends with him for 25yrs..and he's never heard this guy say things like that before? not to defend the jerk, but perhaps the reason behind his comment and attitude (and wanting to go with you guys on an errand) was because he had a fight with HIS wife. maybe their arguement was about something he felt she should be doing and she was refusing to or something.
who knows...but for him to just out of the blue turn into a chauvinistic pig seems odd. maybe let things blow over and cool down a bit and see if your husband can find out what was behind this whole thing.

 ElicBxn (15327) | 2 years ago |  Obviously your husband wasn't happy with the friend either, so, by just telling him (your husband) that you really didn't appreciate the way you were treated, he may decide that this guy isn't such a hot friend too.
Of course, you feel for the guys wife, but she's the one who married him and he has probably not changed that much from when he married her, so I'm sure she know's what kind of guy he is.
I'd've had to kill him....
