Your off to good a start. If only all these newbies would listen up and get on track too and get away from trying to chase the fast money and using the freeware blogs. Your doing it the right way.

You have a top level domain website and creating backlinks with using the free blogs.

I just did some checking on your domain and your blog and the rankings.

You need to get your meta names and keywords on your top level domain website so you will start climbing the search engines.

Is there a reason why you don't have contextual ads on your domain site. At first I didn't think you had any contextual ads till I visited your blog. Oh, btw I did happen to visit a sponsored ad of interest too.

One other question, did you apply for google adsense or did you have adsense at one time ?

What you are doing is on the right track, just keep creating more subpages by creating mini pages and run those contextual ads.

Thanks for the very useful advice. I do place referral links in most of my blog posts but I don't have any banner or text advertsing on the blog. I use a blog template which does not seem to allow copy and paste html. I am planning to start a second blog where I can place advertising and it will be more of a moneymaking venture.

I hate that mylot has choosen to set the number post to 500. Even if I was to copy my post to mouse, I still couldn't paste it back in.

I can be found on the internet, you can't. I get search engine traffic, you don't. My GDI pays me a residual monthly income. Your site don't. I have a real website, what do you have ?

Getting the big picture ?

Question is, can you afford to step up the plate and invest in yourself with a real business plan and have your own real top level domain website with a residual income payplan too.
