| Where does Brett Farve rate?  | | | |  ...we know he is a great QB and a firt ballot hall of famer. But where does he fall in terms of celebrity outside of the world of football?
For example: Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, Tiger Woods, etc. all transcended the games they played. They were known as icons, not only sports stars.
...for whatever reason, I do not view Farve in the same light. Where would you place him in the ranking of best known or transcendental sports stars?

| | I wouldn't put him above Michael Jordan. But, I would definitely rank him above Gretzky and Woods. I don't put much stock in statistics so I'll ignore most of his records. But, he played in a very violent sport (the average player's career is four years) without missing a start. Plus he retired with the most wins as a quarterback despite the fact he never had a hall of fame player on offense with him.
