I am a Chicago Bears fan. The Green Bay Packers are our "enemies". They have had Brett Favre for the past 16 years. He is the Green Bay Packers, as far as I am concerned. Whenever I watched him play against the Bears, I would yell at my team to "kill him", but don't hurt him. Silly, huh? He was one of those players on the opposition that I "hated" so much, because he was way too good and would always do something unbelievable. He was one of those players I wished was on my team.
He was exciting to watch when he played the game. He had such fun playing the game. He has set many records from playing the game. He is truly irreplacable.
I am very upset he is retiring from the game. He says he is tired, mentally. He feels like he underaccomplished because he didn't win the Superbowl this year. That was his goal. He threw an interception in overtime that allowed the Giants to score the winning field goal and go on to win the Superbowl. He also has the record for most interceptions and most completions by a QB in the NFL.
I say, put it behind you Mr. Favre and come back at least one more year. Football is much more fun when I get to watch you play the game.
What do you think? Can we get a petition going to send to Brett Favre to ask him to come back?
Go Bears.....PEACE

All my teams are not in Green Bay's conference so I was free to like and root for Brett. But I an a Giant fan so his last game, his last game that sounds so strange, was great for me.
I don't think anything will change his mind.it was a hard decision but he has made his mind.I will miss him. He has a arm that wouldn't quit. I remember seeing guys almost fall down after catching his passes. And I will remember his joy when he was playing. Like carrying his receiver like a baby after he caught the ball.I miss him already.

He is the only Q.B. that would get up from a sack smiling and would find the Linebacker that sacked him and laugh and joke with the guy.
Did you hear that Sapp retired yesterday too?

Last year when the Packers played the Bears, Brett got absolutely nailed by Brian Urlacher. He got up looked at Brian and smiled and patted him on the butt. When he turned his face away from Brian to walk to the sidelines, the camera showed him grimacing. Brian really clocked him, but Brett wasn't about to let the Bears or Brian see his pain.
No, I didn't hear about Warren retiring. He's been around awhile, made his millions. Had a very quiet season last year, didn't hear a thing about him. What team did he play for after the Bucs anyway?
PEACE

I am probably one of thr biggeste backers there is and just an hour ago I heard all of the local Packers sources from the internet and the local news say he really is retiring for good. It's a very sad day here in Packerland, everywhere I've gone today that is all everyone has talked about. It's really nice to know that even with the rivalry we have with the Bears someone there regards Number 4 the way we do. He was truly a great player that brought all of us up here hope and happiness for more that 16 years. Thank You for being a supporter of him.
