Internet plan for just Rs. 300 per month...

REcently i bought an Internet Dial up connection. And it just cost me about Rs. 300 per month ~= 8$. Its an unlimited plan. And i got a speed of around 20kBps. I think its a pretty decent plan with a nice speed in a dial up mode. Do you have an internet(Dial up) connection or using a Broadband Connection? And how much it cost you? And how much speed you got? Thanks Cheers!!!

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I used to have a dial up connection about 6 moths back. IT was of cost Rs440(about $10) that to nigh unlimited.And its downloading speed was 7 to 10kbps.I got tempted by its speed. So i took an internet connection of unlimited scheme which cost me Rs.799 about ($20) per month and it is providing me with speed of 30kbps. So i am happy with this new internet connection. Alright its seems that you have MTNL Landline Connection, I was also interested in this plan and i wanted to ask you whether this connection is only available with Landline Phone or we can take a seperate internet connection without landline phone...

hmmmm i enquired about it before taking the broadband connection. There is no possibility of taking mtnl broadband connection without any phone connection.So i took minimum plan of landline that's only Rs.100.

Ive got broadband, 8mb speed that i pay around 50$ per month. I think its worth it because i often sit at the computer, i dont have many other things to do since i dont have a job.
