People who throw litter out from their car! It's really bad here in Pensacola. There is garbage everywhere! How can people be such slobs? do they litter up their homes like that too?

I would have to wonder that too. Especially in an area like Pensacola which is such a pretty area. I spent a lot of summers in the Pensacola, Destin/Ft Walton area as a kid. I hate the way our beach areas are being trashed. I have a problem in my neighborhood cause a neighbor in the building next to mine puts their garbage out days before the scheduled pickup. It is not even in a can, just the plastic bags. So naturally the bags get torn into by cats, etc. Do these people clean up the mess, no! And of course the garbage men only pick up the bag not the stuff around the bags. Yuck! I hate people who cant take the extra few seconds to clean up things, or put them where they belong.

To tell you the truth Pensacola is the dirtiest city I have ever seen! I am from Canada and you could eat off the streets of Toronto! I didn't think garbage men would pick up bags of garbage. Here we are given garbage cans by the garbage company and charged monthly for two pick-ups a week. They don't pick up garbage unless they are paid! You must be in the city.

That is sad. We used to go to the beaches there but that was a long time ago. I went to Toronto in 1985 and really enjoyed it there.

I've known people who do that & what grinds my gears most about it, is that they aren't slobs in their home or car. My car often looks like a tornado blew threw it. I have children & I would lose my mind if they flung trash out the window. I tell them to put it on the floor if I don't have a bag in the car and clean it up later. The people I have known who do it pretend to be neat-freaks, their cars are immaculate & they don't want litter in their car I guess. But what jerks to think their car is more important than 'our' world.

Oh I hear you. I live next to an empty lot on one side and the train tracks are next to my neighbor. People walking regularly cut through to cut across the tracks. I have had the grossest & sometimes dangerous (I found a used needle once) dumped in my yard or blown into my yard from the empty lot.
