I have heel spurs & plantar fasciitis very bad. My crocs are the only shoes I have that help. However, they still do not provide "complete" relief so I am thinking about buying a pair of the Crocs "Rx" kind. They are made by Crocs and they are made specifically for this type of foot problem. They also have ones that are supposed to be for people with diabetes too. Does anyone here own or know of anyone who owns the Crocs Rx? They are a little more expensive so I want to make sure they are worth the extra money before buying them. Thanks in advance everyone!

I was just looking at them today - thinking about it. I, too, have planter fascitis . Have you looked at www.footsmart.com yet? they have a good selection of devices for helping to relieve and heal(no pun intended, but enjoyed anyhow) pain from plantar fascitis.

I have not bought the Crocs Rx kind yet, but I did just buy a new pair of the Cayman Crocs about 2 weeks ago. The one pair I did have are so worn out, but still much more comfortable than any other shoes I own! I bought a pair in dark brown this time. Have you bought any yet?

No, I do not own a pair of these due to the price. I am Diabetic though with a lot of Diabetic problems, like neuropathy, etc. and I have considered checking into more information to which is Best for us Diabetics, and consider checking into maybe getting a pair for the Summer as my feet have a tendency to sweat a lot. I just do not like the look of these really even though people I know who own a pair, swear by the comfort.

I do have a pair of the crocs RX. I do think for my foot problems they are more comfortable. I have Morton's neuroma and have had to put off the surgery for months and I wore the regular crocs because the colors I have matched what I was wearing, but for long days and any amount of walking I always wear my crocs RX. I haven't wore regular shoes in about 5 months. I also have some off brands, which are ok, but on days I was bothered with the pain, I chose the crocs RX. I had the surgery last Friday and at the appointment with the doctor on Monday, he recommended wearing the crocs RX after I get out of the surgical boot. That was encouraging to me, I am going to order another pair in a different color.

I just bought my first pair of Crocs. I had heard about them, but kind of phoo phooed how good they really were. Oh my gosh, I am in love with these shoes. My son and I walked to the store which is about half a mile away and the walk didn't bother me a bit. Usually if I wear my tennis shoes the back of my calves will begin to hurt. I was delighted when I wore these Crocs and actually felt energized afterwards. I don't know anything about the Crocs "Rx", but if they are a step up from what I bought for only $6, I would definitely buy them. I don't know how you could go wrong, no matter what.

Mine are black, so they go with anything. In fact, I'm hoping I can wear them at my new job. I'd like to get some pink ones though to wear with jeans.

Great... glad you like your Crocs! However, the ones you bought must be a copy-cat brand of Crocs because they usually sell for about $29.99 or more. But, if the ones you have are working good for you than that is wonderful... especially for only $6! What color do you have? I want to buy another pair or two. The ones I have are dark blue, which is great because they go perfectly with a pair of jeans, but I really want to get another pair (same color, as mine are wearing out) plus a pair of dark brown ones.

I wish I had some information to give you, but I know nothing about them. I do know what pain you're feeling, though, as I lived with it for several years and it got progressively worse. NOTHING helped the pain at all. I feel for you.

Hi - have you ever owned any Crocs at all? As I said, they are practically the only shoes I can wear now. I do however wear tennis shoes when working out or if I need more support for certain activities, like hiking, riding a bike, etc (not that I do that much... LoL!). If you haven't ever bought any you really should try a pair out. I knew immediately this past fall when I tried a pair on for the very first time in Macy's that they would help me tremendously! They provided immediate relief just while testing them out in the store. I know... they aren't the prettiest things in the world, but hey... it's better than being in constant pain! I bought the dark blue ones as they go and blend in much better with a pair of blue jeans. I also wear dark blue socks with them sometimes because they blend in much better than white socks! LoL! I am wearing my pair out & really need to buy another pair or two (I have them on almost constantly). When I have the money I will probably buy a dark brown pair & hopefully another pair of the dark blue ones. They're also a great sandal. Right now I am wearing them with a pair of jean shorts & no socks. If nothing else, just go to a store that carries the "Crocs" brand (make sure they are Crocs as there are copycats out there too) & just try on a pair to see how they feel.

have you ever seen those EARTH shoes with the negative heel? the heel is lower than the toes so you are walking with a slight incline (like on a treadmill - this is supposed to help with planter F. as well as back problems by putting your posture in better alignment... plus they are really really comfy!
