Are you interested in interior decoration???

I did my living room and bedroom myself. I like Trading Spaces books, they feature ideas from the TV show, Trading Spaces.

I love to craft and sew and do my own decorating. You can save a lot of money and if you change your mind on the design, you can do it over. There are many ideas in magazines or books at the library... or you can look up home decorating on the internet and can find lots of ideas for all budgets. It's fun and you have your own personality in it when you do it yourself. Give it a try!

I really like the idea of totally overhauling a room in a simple way like a new coat of paint and a different coloured cover for your couch. I believe not much money has to spent to make a room look great. As for professional interior decorating, I don't know if I could do that. You'd have to have a great imagination as well as know the technicalities of it. For example the ratios of space, colours, lengths of things etc. It all seems very scientific! I love when I see a room that's been made to reflect the personality of the owner.
