How often do you read you e-mails? |
|
I'm a netizen (a slang word for people who are always surfing the net) and my e-mail is necessary. I use it to connect with friends, with business, as storage of files or as back-up storage when my hard drive corrupts, etc.
Well, I have friends that create e-mail accounts but doesn't use it actively and some have never even opened their e-mail address accounts in their lifetime.
I read my e-mails regularly. For example, I open my Yahoo! Mail account every week to check messages and reply to them. I also store some files and save them in my drafts. I use my Mail in its full functionality.
How about you? How often do you open your E-mail account? What other functions does your E-mail account serve to you?

| 2. nxjlshare (24) | 2 years ago | I open my E-mail account almost each time I surf the Internet, and I think I am a netizen. I like extracting something good, editting it and sending it to myself as an E-mail. Not only can I get more scores in my mailbox, but I can view the materials clearly and coveniently. (Just to add yourself into your own address list.)
| |
| |
|
|
cr0ssf41r13 (640) | 2 years ago | You are quite amusing, nxjlshare.:) I did that (the add yourself thing) in my Yahoo! Messenger. I just did that for the sake of viewing my status.*laughs* Anyway, I do that often too. When I find a good site, I'll open my 'Bookmarks' drafts and input the site in. Everytime I surf the net, I'll open sites from the bookmarks list.
P.S.: I created a 'Bookmarks' drafts because my mom deletes cookies from my FireFox browser and with it comes my bookmarks. I've been victimized by that so many times and all I can do is loath. LOL

4. chunter (1718) | 2 years ago | I check my email everyday. Like you, I also store a lot of important emails and also use it as a backup storage for some files.
I have a Yahoo!, hotmail and three Gmail email accounts....I hardly use the hotmail one as it is crap....But I kept the account because I need it for MSN, otherwise I won't even bother with it...
| |
| |
|
|
cr0ssf41r13 (640) | 2 years ago | Oh, my mother do that too. She just signed up in HotMail because she needed it for her MSN account. I do have a GMail account too but I use it rarely.

5. bongkarpasang (1129) | 2 years ago | I check emails daily, to tell you the truth, I have 5 email accounts for each functions and I keep using them regularly, still active till now. why I would need so many accounts? well, one for family/ relatives/ close friends correspondences, one for work related, one for earning programs, and one for private email that really few people would know (and this one is to avoid getting spammed), and the latest one is special for yahoogroups discussions. well, that's how I manage my emails functionality.
| |
| |
|
|
cr0ssf41r13 (640) | 2 years ago | Wow, that was a great line of using your e-mails in their full functionality. You have a great idea in creating different e-mails for every functions because it will be more organized.

6. cooldude_no1 (746) | 2 years ago | well, I am a netizen as well. hehehe. I read my work mails everyday, in fact everytime when there is a new mail. I used Microsoft Outlook for that. Not only that, my Outlook is linked to my Hotmail and Gmail, both are my private emails and I read them too whenever there are new mails.
I have "for fun" or casual emails, in which, those are most of the junk mails sent by my friends go to and I read them like once a week, over the weekend only.
| |
| |
|
|
cr0ssf41r13 (640) | 2 years ago | I can see that work e-mails are really a must-read everyday.:) Microsoft Outlook is a great software for the management of your e-mails. But, I rarely use it.

8. nickp10 (153) | 2 years ago | You can call me a netizen too, lol. I'm on the internet everyday and I'm constantly checking my email. I dont receive many important emails that I need to read immediately, so it doesnt really help to check my email as frequently as I do. But I still like checking it frequently just in case.
| |

|
cr0ssf41r13 (640) | 2 years ago | Yeah, me too. I don't get too much mails. There are regular e-mails from Multiply and stuff because I'm active in the Online Shopping thing. Checking my e-mail became a habit too everytime I am online.
