Nubrella  

Hmmm I'm very sceptical about the claims they are making. I'd like to see it tested against the winds in Edinburgh, then I might believe and $60 is a lot of money for an umbrella, especially for me as I'm always leaving them on buses.

I think I'd probably stick with the cheap ones, unless this one had a homing device in it as well.

SOunds like a good idea but I'm not sure if it will really work as advertised:)
I am also not sure if it will be for everyone, some people might feel confined using/wearing it.
Personally I like the idea it and it would certainly leave my hands free, but it might still be a bit limited in certain aspects. For example a regular umbrella even if small has an effect that tend to cover some parts of your body as well and because it extends outward the water rans outward as well. In the case of nubrella it's almost like a dome over our head, the water will be all falling on our chest or back area. Lots of very wet clothes for sure if it's raining a lot.
But maybe it can be improved and then make a bit more sense.

Well, I don't know if I would invest $ 60. I am always forgetting my umbrellas here and there. I usually have about 3 or 4 in reserve. I buy them when they are cheap on sale. Also I live near Lake Ontario and the winds are quite fierce at times, so I am not sure sure how a hands free umbrella would work.
