1. bayernfan (524) | 2 years ago | Goran Pandev is an excellent player. He works very well up front with Tommaso Rocchi. I transferred Goran Pandev into my UEFA Champions League Fantasy Football squad this season for a few games. I had good timing as he scored several goals and earned me some points before Lazio was ousted from the tournament. It would be a shame if Lazio were to lose Goran. He would fit in well in the Bundesliga playing for Werder Bremen, Schalke or Hamburg. I would say that if he is going to leave Lazio, then replacing the aging Alessandro Del Piero or David Trezeguet at Juventus or transferring to Fiorentina as a replacement for an older Christian Vieri would be the best bets. What do you think?

bayernfan (524) | 2 years ago | I agree with you wholeheartedly. While the EPL has many quality squads and they play high class football, teams in the EPL sometimes waste the talent that they can afford and attract or at least they seem to under utilize some talented footballers from abroad. I can think of Andrej Schevchenko, Michael Ballack and Claudio Pizarro to name a few.
I also agree that Goran Pandev would fit in perfectly at Werder Bremen. With the loss of Miroslav Klose, Bremen lack a change of style up front. Boubacar Sanogo offers a change of pace, but Markus Rosenberg, Hugo Almeida, Aaron Hunt and Ivan Klasnic are all often injured and they don't seem to compliment each other well. A quality forward who is sturdy, like Goran Pandev, would suit Werder Bremen very well. Goran would be a perfect outlet for Diego or Torsten Frings from the midfield.

| gunners1886 (29) | 2 years ago | Everythink you have said is true but Goran Pandev doesn't want to play in middfield, he likes more to be in the forward that was the case when he was playing for his country he was in the middfield but the results came when he was attacker.he has a lots of qualities he likes Lazio a lot but a lot but he really needs a new club he said that if he leaves lazio he would not stay in Italy. In the past there were a lots of speculations about him like Arsenal,Totenham,Necastle,Liverpool he would fit in the premier league too but on the condition plan he is really bad he can't play matches often he is too tired.I wish him lot's of luck in his career!

bayernfan (524) | 2 years ago | I didn't suggest that Goran should play in the midfield either. I just said that I thought that he, as a forward, would be a good outlet to pass to from midfielders Diego and Frings from Bremen. I don't think that Goran would find a good fit in the EPL. unless he feels like having his talents squandered while on the bench getting a few minutes per game or sharing game time with another forward. I could see him fitting in at Newcastle, but they have been terrible the past two seasons and one could ask the question of whether he would consider going there or not?

| gunners1886 (29) | 2 years ago | well that was in the past about these clubs.arsene Wenger was delighted about Pandev even he was in doubt between Eduardo Da Silva or Pandev but then he choose Eduardo.I think Spain is the best destination for him or ofcource Germany. He would fit in Villareal or Atletiko Madrid.Do you know that he was very close to move to Bayern Munchem!

bayernfan (524) | 2 years ago | It would be really interesting to see how Goran might compliment Aguero at Atletico Madrid. Yeah, Bayern was courting several strikers in the summer. Bayern has done well signing Miro Klose away from Werder Bremen and Luca Toni away from Fiorentina. Miro and Luca have been great additions to the squad.

| gunners1886 (29) | 2 years ago | They are excellent strikers i respect Klose a lot as a player they are a great duo at Bayern. But i cant wait till summer to see where will Goran Pandev ends.He is Macedonian pride!!!

bayernfan (524) | 2 years ago | Toni had two goals yesterday in Bayern's win over Leverkusen. We won't have to wait to much longer for the summer and to find out where Goran will end up. I am also looking forward to Euro 2008.

bayernfan (524) | 2 years ago | I am cheering for Germany. Die Mannschaft ist fantastisch! I will also be watching the hosts Austria and Switzerland. I have a sentimental attachment to Austria. Unfortunately, Austria's team isn't as strong as the rest of the field. Although, they do have some quality individual players. Watch Andi Ivanschitz (Panathinaikos) and Martin Harnik (Werder Bremen). They are amazing players.

| gunners1886 (29) | 2 years ago | I don't want to watch Greek teams but i'll keep an eye on Martin from Werder it is interesting to analyze players! What do you think about Lehman?
| |
|
|
bayernfan (524) | 2 years ago | No, no, no. I meant that if you get a chance to watch a Euro 2008 game with Austria in it, look out for those players. I don't watch the Greek Super League either, but I have seen some of Panathinaikos' work this year in the EUFA Cup. As for Jens Lehmann, he's a terrific goaltender when he plays, but he's getting older and he's high maintenance. Germany has a wealth of talent at goalkeeper:
- Frank Rost (Hamburg) - Rene Adler (Bayer Leverkusen) - Manuel Neuer (Schalke) - Timo Hildebrand (Valencia) - Robert Enke (Hanover 96) - Oliver Kahn (Bayern Munich) - Michael Rensing (Bayern Munich) - Raphael Schaefer (Stuttgart)
To name but a few.:)

|
| gunners1886 (29) | 2 years ago | I haven't seen much of the Germany goalkeepers except Lehman he is ok but he is getting older so i like Timo he was great when Vlancia played with Real,Enke is also good goalkeeper i also have seen Shalke's goalkeeprer and i like Bayern Munchen second choise he will be great keeper!I watched Bosnia-Macedonia 2-2 and i didnt was impressed from Dzeko he plays in Wolfsburg he is average not like the people says that Wenger is chasing him.He is not good at all.Have u seen him?

|
|
bayernfan (524) | 2 years ago | I have watched Wolfsburg play one or two times on TV this year, but I can't say that I remember a player by the name of Dzeko standing out.
